And he couldn't drop him either. If it wasn't for his chin, he would be knocked sparked out, cause he got hit with the same shot Wlad did.

41 year old Vitali stops joshua. Joshua can't outbox or outblast him

joshua is the only British heavyweight who never fought Chisora because he ducked him after those sparring sessions

The south african would erase aj in 2 rounds, joshua never seen power and speed like that

Or maybe just maybe Chisora kept losing his big fights and was never ranked in the top 10 when Joshua was a champion ?

A focused Sanders lost to Nate Tubbs and Hasim Rahman his whole career is based off one win outside of that he done nothing of note in his career.

And if Joshua beat the same version of Sanders that Vitali did you would be discrediting that win for Sanders being old out of shape and semi retired.

To be honest, I'm not the biggest AJ fan and have been pretty critical of him, but AJ is going to land bombs on Vitali's head like Lewis did. AJ is at least as good offensively as Lewis and has a better chin. He's actually less sloppy. I actually think he's better.

Vitali has no defence against people around his size with some athleticism. He relied almost completely on being much bigger but still having some athleticism.

Now, at the same time Vitali has a way better engine and a better chin and so I think he'd tough it out and land lots of jabs and weak RH's on AJ and around round 11 or so, AJ would almost be dropped and the corner would have seen enough and throw the towel in.

But it's actually possible AJ does enough facial damage to Vitali to get a stoppage because in reality Vitali's head is right there in the strike zone with no guard and it doesn't matter how good your chin is, big punches will damage flesh and bone and turn your face into a hamburger.

The reason Green went the distance is because he fought to survive by clinching and he was also durable.

Briggs was old way past his best and was a sitting duck and got hit with 302 punches.

Do you think if Tyson hit Briggs with 302 punches that he would still be standing ?

He wouldn't beat Corrie Sanders. Rahman beat Lennox Lewis. Vitali at 41 would stop joshua

Why couldn't he ? Sanders lost to worse fighters than Joshua and he hasn't got a consistent resume outside of 1 win.

Rahman has a better single than Joshua ? yes. But is he considered better than Joshua ? No.

Sanders was actually considered past his prime when he beat Wladimir BTW.

Prime AJ wins this by SD imo.

Prime Vitali breaks AJ to a million pieces.

joshuas chin is a reboot button. He'll need the time to recover and Sanders is too fast in the follow up

joshua barely beat 40 year old Wladimir and the older brother has a better chin, more workrate. He can't handle an ancient force like Vitali.

Rahman got stopped twice by Maskaev but still managed to beat Sanders.

Wladimir didn't have only one good working arm vs Joshua like Vitali did vs Chisora. Plus Wladimir has much better technical skills and hits considerably harder.

aj can't knock Vitali out or outbox him. Remember when he gassed in round 5 against Wlad? Thats what happens when he throws the kitchen sink and realizes he can't KO Vitali. He'll gas and fall over when Vitali lands his arm punches. Almost like a less competitive version of Parker vs Joyce

But Vitali isn't known for stopping notable opponents in the 1st half of the fight so it's very unlikely Vitali would stop Joshua in the 5th round.

Prime Joshua----> 1 armed 40+ year old Vitali.

Joshua by decision and then you'd be making a thread saying Joshua only beats old men.

He's not better than a 1 armed 40 year old Vitali. Joshua in his prime would lose several rounds to a young hard hitting pressure fighter like Chisora.

Joshua stops Chisora like Haye did.

And Joshua outpoints the one armed old man Vitali.
