John Dignum vs. Lee Noble, 4 rounds @ middleweight

 

Round 1

Dignum pops a right jab to the body and moves around Noble in rising and falling waves. Noble turns and hops in place, pawing out with his left jab. Noble moves forward and Dignum ducks to tap the body and then slink out the side. Noble tosses a jab, gets countered by a southpaw 1-2 between the eyes and covers up as Dignum unloads more. Noble lunges with a few more jabs, ducked. Noble circles right, standing tall and imposing himself over Dignum, stalking but leaned back at the waist. PERFECT RIGHT HAND BY NOBLE!!! DIGNUM GOES DOWN!!! UP!! SAVED BY THE BELL!!

To put this in context: the heavily tattooed Noble has already racked up a record of 14-22-3 at only twenty-two years old...and was brought in to be "fed" to this 20 year old prospect in his sophomore effort.

Round 2

Noble continues to stalk his way in while standing straight and tall, leaned back. Dignum tosses some light straight flurries into his guard, then drops a straight left lead to the body. Noble walks him all the way to the ropes and then reaches with a booming right hand, grazing as Dignum skirts off. Noble is taking quick jab-steps toward Dignum and leaving him no space to run, pumping the right hand past Dignum's southpaw jabs and 1-2's. Noble puts his earmuffs on and leans down, grinding Dignum nearly into the ropes. Wild right haymaker and wide-flung left hook by Noble coming forward as they cross the BoxNation logo in the center of the ring. Dignum backs up and barely paws a few right jabs. Lead left to the guard by Dignum. Noble comes stepping forward with a right.
