Counting down the days is a tad bit obsessive but overall you're right, Pavlik should win.

Pavlik seems to have an impressive record (31 - 0 with 28 KOs) but if you look closer at this record, who has he really beaten?

    http://www.boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=15844&cat=boxer

I watched some of his fight against Miranda; he looked fairly pedestrian in my opinion and although his record suggests a big puncher, does he really have the power to hurt Taylor?

Taylor has fought stellar opposition recently (Hopkins, wright) and will have too much for Pavlik I predict.

    Taylor UD

taylor ud....people forget that he beat winky and bhop 2 times and remember him for his not so good fights in ouma and spinks. even if you think he lost the bhop winky fights he still kept it close and managed the w (i personally had taylor win the 2 bhop fights and winky fight)....taylor fights to the level of his competition for some reason but he will rise to the ocasion

I think Taylor's experience in big fights bring him to victory. Both are young but what seperates them is their experience. I expect a lot of give and take rounds like DLH/Vargas, but deep down I think its gonna be JT's past experiences that will carry him to victory.

If what I am predicting comes true, then the title of this thread is right. But anything can happen in boxing!

Taylor will win. Pavlik will come out fast, but Taylor will soon realise he has a fight on his hands and will win a UD.

Both are easy to hit but Pavlik has a better chin and more power. Pavlik KO

Well one thing is for sure...When was the last time Taylor faced a Hard puncher? Never? Don't put Hopkins on that list because he isn't a KO fighter. He has decent power so don't let his KO over a small Tito or DLH confuse that. I honestly think Taylor has a virgin chin and he is going to taste real power when he faces pavlik. Hell I even think if Taylor got decked by a few of Trinidads punches he wouldn't like it...Pavlik is a freakin monster and he might just reck Taylor....But I do know that Taylor is definitely going to stink out the fight and clinch all night long.
