Stewart should probably get Wladamir Klitchko in there to spar with Taylor...That would definitely prepare him for the power of Pavlik...But man..Hopkins/Winky/Spinks....Dude those are all technical fights, and they are all soft punchers.

Taylor will get koed, that guy is SO much overrated in here, he LOST to both winky and hop and got gift and I beleive the fight with spinks showed his lack of talent, a smaller man with absoluly no power backed him up and arguably beat him

Regardless of Taylors performance on his wins...This guy is young as far as boxing experience but yet he jumped in there with legends like winky/hopkins twice and then a technically annoying as hell fighter in spinks...They threw him into the fire fast and he has pulled out draws and very close wins off pure heart because he had no experience going into these fights. So I give Taylor credit on that. I think Pavlik is going to knock him out...But if Taylor beats this guy he deserves to be at least 5 on the p4p list or something because that is just a disgrace. It doesn't matter if we don't like the guy..Hes fighting great fighters and he deserves props. Even if they are close.

I don't understand how he is receiving gifts. It's not like Hopkins beat up Taylor for all 12 rounds then lost the decision. Every fight has been CLOSE and COMPETETIVE with Taylor getting the nod or getting a draw. The word gift is thrown around too much and it is getting pretty old. Especially when people say they had Hopkins up 115-114 and they still call it a gift..it's a joke.

As for the Taylor-Pavlik fight itself, I think it's going to be a real test for Taylor. Taylor needs to have an amazing camp and he needs to LISTEN to Steward in order to defeat Pavlik. If he doesn't do either, he won't beat Pavlik because Pavlik is always 100% ready. However, I think Taylor is more of a natural counterpuncher and will perform better when he doesn't have to initiate the action. He needs to pick his hands up more and not just go straight backwords without defending himself.

I know a lot of people are saying Pavlik is going to easily destroy Taylor, but even Pavlik knows this is the fight of his career and it's not going to be easy.

Pavlik knows it wont be easy but Ive said it time and time again---Taylor drops his left alot. ALOT. However, throughout his career he was never punished for dropping it. You can throw out winkys name and hopkins but in my eyes Pavlik throws alot harder than them--hes a KO artist. As long as Pavlik can withstand taylors jab--which has been nonexistant lately--pavlik will connect flush with that bomb of a right when taylor drops that left and its going to be lights out. :admin

Yes but you have to be KIDDING ME if you honestly don't think that's what Taylor and Steward are working on right now. Both fighters will have a gameplan and I'm positive, that Taylor is taking this fight just as seriously as Pavlik is and won't be keeping his left hand down when he backs up, or just in general. However, you are right that if Taylor does do the same mistakes, he will be KOed, that's why I said that Taylor has a very good chance if he has a good training camp and he listens to Steward during the fight. :deal

Sometimes you realize it's do or die time. An epiphany of some sort. When you have that many indecisive wins, eventually you want to prove to the world that you are the CHAMP. And who knows, maybe Taylor doesn't even want to be a true champ. There's only one way to find out and it will be on September 29.
