    I said "maybe".

Vitali will be 42 years old by then, & may have aged noticeably.

Vitali is much better equipped mentally to take on Mitchell. I see him putting up a performance similar to the one he put up against Arreolla. At least it would be a Klit fight with some action.

Even though Vitali's punching power has arguably declined, Mitchell has HUGE gaps in this defence department which will allow Vitali to unload a truckload of slaps into Mitchell's face and eventually TKO him.

I don't think Mitchell would be able to cope with Vitali's height and experience. This, I believe, even in spite of Vitali's aging.

A much better fight for Mitchell is Povetkin. Assuming Mitchell continues to improve, he might stand an excellent chance of winning. Povetkin is flatfooted, slow, has a leaky defense, and frequently has "off nights." These qualities might make him vulnerable to Mitchell's power and body attack.

It's possible that Mitchell is already the best -- most devastatingly effective -- body puncher in the heavyweight division. I'll give him credit for that. But he'll need a stationary target against which to unload those big left hooks and rights downstairs.

Mitchell would rush in trying to chop down the tree. Vitali would elan back, counter with an OH R and it's over. A wobbled Mitchell would then be put away with a killer instict Vitali has always possessed.:hey

At this point Vitali would crack that shaky chin without too much trouble

Mitchell ain't ready yet, maybe when Vitali is 45 it'll be a different story

I agree. I just can't see Mitchell hanging in there with Vitali. Vitali wouldn't punch himself out or make sloppy mistakes after hurting Mitchell, unlike Witherspoon. Vitali would get it done right.

Do you really rate Mitchell as superior to Arreola, Gomez, Solis, Sanders, and Chisora?
