I think Wladimir had a little more left than Vitali did at the 41 year mark of both their careers.
But I also think Wladimir was a lot more motivated at 41.

1 Wladimir had kept more of his speed and power than Vitali did at 41.
2 Vitali kept more of his stamina than Wladimir did at 41.
What do you think? Who would win?

I always thought Vitali was the better fighter, and still do.

Vitali was probably less skilled a boxer, but you're right he was a better fighter and, man, that chin! Probably the asset which most distinguishes Vitali from Wlad. Although that said, props to Wlad for staying in his feet in the 11th after AJ's hellacious uppercut...

Vitali was a little more akward than Wlad but man, he was pretty exciting at times. I went to the Klitschko-Arreola fight at the staples center and I was so hyped up because I thought both styles were going to match up real good, but Klitschko fought a different fight and kept Arreola at the end of his punches pretty well, and that was all she wrote. I think Vitali would have beat Fury that night he beat Wlad.

We'll this May sound silly but watching two brothers fight doesn't appeal to me, lol

On paper its fun to debate for sure, but in real life that would be a bit weird.

Wlad has more spoed and pop but Vits may have been the better fighter. So tough to call.

    Vitali
Less power, but much higher punchoutput and more skilled. Also more confident.

    Wlad would outbox him easy.

Vitali would bleed from Wlads superior jab footwork and distance control . On top of that Vitali cant risk to bumrush him either due to Wlads heavy gamebreakers.

    UD - Wlad.

Vitali was always the better of the 2 brothers. Vitali's chin would ensure he isn't blown out, he would of stayed up from the right hand that dropped AJ and that's if Wlad could even land it against the taller more agile Vitali.

Vitali's work rate was also insane for a heavyweight, he could throw more punches over 12 rounds than Wlad and Joshua did combined during their fight. Would be hard for Wlad to win a decision he'd be out worked and out scored and he can't put the pressure on to force a stoppage. Vitali UD.

Wladimir was always the better boxer , faster , better skills and he was a stronger puncher.

Vitali was only tougher than him , he seems to be overrated on this forum , his resume is not that good.

I think Wladimir Klitschko would win by UD or he would be the first guy to knock him out but it would be a tough fight.

Chris Byrds comparison of both Klitschkos , he is saying that "Wladimir hits 3 times harder than Vitali".

I've always favoured prime Vits over prime Wlad, but if we're talking about the 41 year old versions I think Wlad might just take him. He looks in gooood shape.

He really looks amazing at 41 and you have to consider that Wladimir competed with AJ and took heavy punches
from him and Anthony Joshua is a stronger puncher than Vitali was.

Vitali at 41 wasn't looking that good against Chisora and couldn't knock him out , i think Wladimir at 41 would
    beat Vitali at 41 convincingly.

    Complete nonsense.

Sanders, Peter, Byrd, Hide aren't 'bums' by any means.

Sanders ko'd Wlad, won the WBO HW title, Peter was WBC HW world champion.

Byrd was two-times world HW champion and easily beat David Tua among others.

Hide won WBO title 2 times.

I also would never call 'bums' Gomez, Kirk Johnson, Larry Donald and few others. They all had pretty good skills

Pick your words better, it's disrespectful to boxers some of whom were world champions!

But I agree with you that 41 y.o. Wlad is in better shape than 41 y.o. Vitali was.

And in better shape than any HW at 41 y.o.

Today's Wlad wins on points vs his 41-y.o. brother.

Vitali could adjust better I thought. His boxing and fighting brain was excellent. He was also very headstrong and had an Alpha Male dominance that Wlad seemed to lack.

Wladimir could not make those adjustments - just one example is him trying that leaping left hook ALL night on AJ and he never really landed it. AJ saw it coming from the 2nd round onwards and Wlad was still stubbornly persistent with it.

If Vitali was to come back today, stick a load of growth hormone in him (to even the playing field with AJ and the others) and put him in with Wilder.
