Garcia is a year older and a pound heavier than Tapia (just over the LMW limit).

Both stand 5'11".

Garcia has 4" of reach on him at 78".

Tapia circles left, tossing out his left jab to the body. Garcia circles left and waves his jab out into Tapia's guard. Tapia is coiled, leaning back, waiting to counter. Garcia lunges in with a jab, and Tapia threads a BIG 1-2 THROUGH THE GAP!! Garcia sent onto his back!! Sprawled under the bottom rope!!! The referee counts, for naught...

Garcia's only been done in that quickly once before...by someone who's currently 17-0 (12). He took highly touted Jermell Charlo the full six rounds.

 

Jose Santiago vs. Fauris Capellan, 4 rounds @ super featherweight

 

Round 1

Capellan scores a quick knockdown, a minute in by way of a big right hand. Big right hand. Santiago gets up on wobbly legs. Capellan keeps working with jabs and rights, landing a particularly vicious plunging right hand to the head after Santiago had ducked inside missing a huge wide uppercut. Santiago is down and not getting up anytime soon!

Round 1

Gonzalez backs up and tosses a high left hook to the head and right hand to the body as Laryea applies slow and steady pressure, jabbing at his head and bobbing around from side to side. Solid right hands to the body by Gonzalez. Laryea keeps floating his jab out toward Gonzalez's guard but not bypassing it. HARD right to the body by Gonzalez. Laryea is bending his knees, rapidly moving up and down on the outside. Gonzalez unrolls a steady right jab, keeping a bead on him. Right hand by Gonzalez knocks Laryea back.
