Undercards...possibly soon? :think I'm checking around to see if Golden Boy winds up streaming the lower depths of the card on the Ring website & Yahoo Sports as they often do for big events (and Top Rank always does :twisted...if so, it'll probably start within an hour. Otherwise, SS1 is showing some of the top end of the undercard from 9pm EST/2am UK. The HBO WCB broadcast at 11pm EST/4am UK is only showing the main event. If we do get to see much of the undercard, it should be quite a show. Other than Fernando Guerrero vs. Jose Medina, the 10-round "undercard headliner", the rest of the bouts all feature unbeaten prospects of some renown. They include Miguel Cotto's younger brother Abner and one of the rising stars of #TheMoneyTeam and Mayweather sparring partner, J'Leon Love.
I'm guessing Sky will be showing: Jaime Kavanagh vs. Paul Velarde, 8 rounds @ lightweight & Fernando Guerrero vs. Jose Medina, 10 rounds @ super middleweight (yeah, Guerrero has jumped two divisions up in his comeback since losing to Brewer) As for all the rest, it's either GBP streaming it on their website or bust. :conf
Nope, 2.5 hours. The bottom part of the undercard should be starting any time now...I'm starting to worry that Golden Boy isn't in a sharing mood today and will leave us high & dry. :err Too bad. Phil LoGreco, Abner Cotto and J'Leon Love are prospects to watch.
Just got back from the Haye fight - I'm gonna take a few hours sleep before Khannage, I missed Khan/Peterson when I also overslept, hope I don't this time.
Amir KHHHHHHANNN ( and he's knocking Angel Garcia's son out) Amir Khhhhhan ( wanna see Angel cry and shout). Amir KHAN. :good
I was wondering if I had either misread that or that they had made a mistake in listing this fight at smw. Can't say that I dig Guerrero's chances up so high. I guess we'll see.
