Yeah true, he didn't have an iron chin but he wasn't exactly David Price either. I mean 3 of those losses came against Holyfield, Tyson and Moorer who were all class operators. Plus one loss was due to him having his eyes swollen shut not because he was knocked out.

Hmmm maybe Povetkin is better, hard to say as they fought in different era's, both were class operators and fought at the elite level during their time though.

I will add that Moorer's win over Holyfield is better than anything on Povetkin's resume. Though I don't think Povetkin would of been a good style for Moorer.

The incredible fact about Moorer that makes Foreman such an absolute legend.....After Moorer defeated Holyfield and won the World Title....A 45 Year old Foreman fought Moorer in his next fight and TKod him to take the World Title off him....Povetkin is not defeating any version of George Foreman he was in my opinion one of the ATG Heavyweights at least I have him in my Top 5 of all time....

Im not even sure Joshua could beat a late 80's/ early 90's Foreman. Tyson called him a "sheep in wolves clothing" and didn't want no parts of him. His punches were frightening and he seemingly never got tired , even standing upright between rounds breathing normally.

Unless you have the right gameplan and execute it to perfection , Foreman is going to pulverize you.

That uppercut on the inside would complete Povetkin around level 7 or 8 :eeek::elboinas:

Won an MD in 92 but was totally destroyed by Holyfield 5 years later.

What a Prime George did to Frazier was staggering.....punched him around the ring like a Rag Doll absolutely destroyed him in 2 rounds....Foreman over 70 fights with a very long career and TKOd once and that was by the great Man....He had one of the best Chins in boxing to boot definitely one of the ATGs no question.!!

Tyson mopped the floor with plenty of heavy hitters whereas Stewart didn’t log a single good win in his entire career.

The rubbish part is Tyson Mopped the Floor with Plenty of hard Hitters...Tysons best wins were Bruno and a 39 Year old Larry Holmes and a finished Spinks.......Tyson failed dismally against the Bigger Heavyweight with Good Chins....Douglas...Holyfield...Lewis etc etc....if your going to bag Stewart for the quality of his wins I suggest you look at some of the Wins on Tysons resume also...

Alright, I guess Ruddock can’t crack. Bruno was one of his worst title defenses but I’m not at all surprised that you wouldn’t know that.

But this is about your hero worship of George and Stewart’s joke of a win column.

Fun fact: Tyson put Stewart away in less than one round.

No argument about Stewart not being one of the Greats But he was a solid Fighter his record would suggest that.......Plenty of Fighters out there like Him Morrison is another Fighter who failed when they stepped up but to the Plate but one thing about both Morrison and Stewart they both were very dangerous and would not be taken lightly...as for Tyson his prime which went for 4 years or so was devastating but he did struggle against the Bigger Heavyweights with good chins.....Just an opinion don't take it personally...

I can't believe all those picking Povetkin over a 42-year-old Foreman. Boggles my mind how anyone can envision anything other than a systematic battering by Big George. Those using his troubles versus Stewart, Morrison and Shulz to support a Povetkin victory keep forgetting the question is against Foreman at 42. Those other fights took place where George was 43, 44, and 46 respectively.

At that advanced age, 1 year can make all the difference. In addition, George was far more fit against Holyfield than the version that showed up against Stewart. Same with Shulz compared to when he faced Moorer one bout prior. George was very passive in his fight with Morrison for some odd reason. He didn't show purpose. And Morrison spoiled with his literally turning his back on George and moving away on many occasions.

Foreman would batter Povetkins face with that cinder-block of a jab. Keep Povetkin at a distance. If he did manage to get inside on George, he would get pushed back. Brutal right crosses if he stands straight up in front of his opponent like he did against Wlad. No way is Povetkin backing up Big George. Povetkin is not a runner. He loved to brawl...and right into George's monster uppercuts.

From 1987-1991 George had 24 of his 26 wins by stoppage. That compared to 1992-1997 where he could only manage 2 stoppage wins out of his remaining 8 fights. There is a marked difference between those 2 periods.

Povetkin is going down, and going down hard against the 42-year old version of George.

In conclusion not even the resident Povetkin nuthuggers can find a decent win on the elite level unless shot Byrd,Chambers and the GOAT Huck are considered elite....................fact is that the Russian Dough boy is next to Michael Grant the most over hyped Heavy in a couple of decades .............should could would .......whenever he stepped up, he failed. Fact.

Prime , whatever that means with Povetkin, had zero answer to glass chin WK on his HOME TURF, zilch, nada.........C/B level Purrity.Brewster simply walked WK down with zero finesse.......a fat Golfer waxed him with a couple of lefts...........goes life and death with zero skill caveman Peter.......this Russian "Killer" did worse than the other Heavyweight fraud of the decade, David Haye.
