^ Deserves the Booker Prize for best Fiction entry.

Foreman looked great because he was fighting guys with fatal flaws like no speed, or power or gaping defensive holes. Take his fight with Pierre Coetzer for instance. Now I think Coetzer was pretty good (and he was beating Foreman at the start of their fight) but he's got no punch variety, no power and no defence whatsoever. He shipped punch after punch from Foreman before getting stopped later.

Povetkin slips very well and slips punches from guys that are far faster and more skilled than Foreman. Old man Foreman was as slow as molasses in a Canadian winter. He'd have a great difficulty in landing anything of consequence. Whereas Povetkin threw fast and varied combinations and with accuracy. He threw over 900 punches vs Byrd in a fight that never went the distance. Old Foreman will get outworked and by a huge margin. That's just the way it is.

Povetkin was fast, had a great defence and a huge workrate.

I'd pick that version of Wlad over any version of Foreman. That version of Wlad might even stop old Foreman.

LOL, so for the Povetkin nuthuggers a shot Byrd is the measuring mark......

FACT : Povetkin never beat a elite talent.........never showed his supposed "skill" on the elite level........stepped up twice to elite and got a beat down twice.....never picked up a real belt.......a hype job beyond a hype job hiding in Mother Russia.

I'd do a permanent ban bet on that one. Wilder will not get destroyed by Joshua.

Uh ... yeah? Because I know what I'm talking about?

Unlike a certain dodgy individual whose main obsession is to get folks to watch him nail some stanky broad, I have the capacity to analyse matchups and determine what will happen ;)

Given the calibre of judging lately, I don't do bets of any kind. :deal:

    But, yes he will.

Prime Povetkin wins a clear UD with some scary moments here and there. George had a very good jab and power but not enough to put away prime Alexander.

Wlad best down prime Alexander with a Jab, and Foreman's power was 2x better than Wlads as well. Povetkin wouldn't be able to hurt foreman and that would be his demise, with a left right down the pipe!

    :facepalm::facepalm::facepalm::facepalm:

Foreman’s Power was NOT 2x better than Wladimir’s dummy. Prime Wlad hit harder than 42 year old George.

And I’m sure in your “Talking Turkey” with Manny Steward, he told you Wlad was the hardest puncher he trained in all his years of boxing like he said in countless interviews.

Quit posting stupid **** and getting mad when I ‘like’ others posts who make you look stupid ;)

You really need to learn how to ready a thread title. 42 year old Foreman, not as a 44 year old who fought Coetzer. But, since you bring that up, Pierre fought Riddick Bowe prior to George. Coetzer won the first 2 round against George. That was it. Pierre did the same with Bowe...he battled Bowe on even terms for a few rounds and then withered just as he did with Foreman.

Wlad made Povetkin look like a club fighter. He didn't win a single round. But, of course he's going to beat the old prime (1988-91) version of Foreman...NOT

Apparently there's old prime now lol, ex. Prime Wlad is 30-35 years old and old prime Wlad is 41 years old
