Moorer was a lot better than good or decent. People nowadays just know Moorer as the guy who lost to Foreman , but he held better skills than most of the guys around today.
That era makes todays era look like journeyman level.

Morrison fought the fight of his career against Foreman. He prepared for that fight like it was going to be a duel to the death. You just don't know.
He knew he couldn't afford to be in range and that's why he constantly moved laterally around George all night. He took only a few flush shots. He could not take his power.
His hand speed and movement beat Foreman. He was able to utilize a strategy on the backfoot. Tommy threw 6 punches in the same time it takes Povetkin to throw 3. The shots he landed on Foreman would have put most people in a coma.

Morrison of that night was sensational. Foreman said he would never face him again and the rematch was a possibility after the Moorer win.

Look what happened to Quai , who fought Foreman head on. Destroyed.
Povetkin gets mangled just trying to get inside , once he gets there , he gets mangled worse.

Moorer was definitely better I agree, but look what he was doing to Foreman before he got caught... Lucky hail Mary punch, Moorer easily beats that version of Foreman 9/10 times.

I agree that Morrison put on the performance of his career there, but it still just goes to show that version of Foreman was very beatable.. If you had decent skills, youth/athleticism an stuck to the gameplan he was very beatable... Povetkin has all of those attributes, he could definitely outbox Foreman and win a lopsided decision. Morrison may have had quicker hands than Povetkin, but you don't exactly need blistering speed to outbox Foreman, and Povetkin is certainly quick enough to give that version, he certainly does a lot of things better than Morrison did that would probably aid him against Big George.

What sort of nonsense are you talking about. Why would you say something like that:patsch.

No world class boxer throws a punch for no reason or swings widely with no purpose. The punch was preempted and thrown with intent.
Go watch interviews with Teddy Atlas on the matter.
He says he knew it was coming , but could do nothing about it.

Foreman was clam , never buzzed or in trouble before the knockout. He was doing nothing more than biding his time and implementing the game plan.

How was he very beatable:huh. Up until 42 , he was only beaten by 3 men.

Two were the greatest HWs of all time and the other was a slick mover who was completely the opposite of Povetkin.

At 43 he got done in by a master class against Morrison. Povetkin never looked that good in his life.

Pov got taken the distance in hard fights against Chambers , Chaggy, Huck and took him 11 rounds to stop the ghost of Byrd in between rounds.
Byrd was nearly gone by a LHW in the first round the fight after.

Povetkin doesn't have the attributes required to beat Foreman. His style is everything you don't do against Foreman.
Anybody who knows anything can see this.

    What about Huck?

Rag dolled around the ring by a guy with a HW record of 0-0-0.

Huck , while entertaining , is not a great boxer. Arslan soundly beat him.

What about getting shut out by Tackam before the knock out?

Huck is a world class fighter, not a journeyman like Stewart. Not Povetkins best night anyways, still was shaking off the bad effects Atlas had on him as a trainer. Takam shutting Povetkin out leading up to the KO? I think you should rewatch that fight man, it was close/competitive but not a "shut out" for Takam leading into the 10th.

Britaard land. Where you knock your opponent down over a couple of rounds equals "losing by shutout before the knock out". This guy needs to go back to retaard school.

Huck is Cruiser Euro bum feaster and was battered by the best world class American he faced.

He went life and death with the absolutely awful Afolabi.

Look up IBs RBR thread . Most people had Povetkin down 5 to nothing.

Afolabi is far from awful, you obviously have an agenda against all Klitschko victims. Need to try discredit guys like Povetkin, and their past opponents in order to try and make Wlad look bad. Not working.....
