In Britains biggest selling sunday paper today there is an interview with Hatton in which he states:

I only want one MORE fight this year and it has to be against a big name.

Then there is the fact that he is scheduled to fight Mayweather in November and my conclusion is that this story of him wanting a tune up is a bit old.

This quote about a tune-up before Mayweather was around before Urango fight, so I think this "news" is a bit old or simply untrue.

At the end of the day, if the fight is to happen at 147lbs then he is going to need a tune up, he wasnt comfortable at all against collazo,
for those who have followed Hattons career like myself, you will be familiar
with Hattons amazing fitness levels in fights, in the collazo fight he was
blowing heavy towards the end of the fight, also he wasnt very strong at that weight, I feel the problem can be resolved, but he needs to build his self up in to a welterweight, i know some ignorant people on here will say its only 7lbs, but Hatton is a natural light welterweight, he is not built for welterweight, so he needs to gradually build himself into one.

I dont think he will have a tune up anyway, as Hatton has stated he will only fight once more this year and that looks likely to be Mayweather.
If he is to stay at Light Welterweight and doesnt fight Mayweather, then I hope its either against Witter/Harris winner or hopefully Diaz moves up to fight him, as 140lbs is a bit thin of talent at the minute.

Anyway this talk of 147lbs...I thought they were on about a catchweight fight at 143lbs????

    **** YOU.

You had the chance to say if Castillo was shot BEFORE the fight. I made a thread SPECIFICALLY so you wouldn't be able to pull this **** after the event.

That one line has got the haters up in arms. But if you'll notice, it might say "Hobson insists, blah, blah" but he didn't actually say it. There's no quote attributed to him on that matter.

So there's no point going ape **** about Hatton being a joke, tune up this and that, when there's no evidence to suggest that.

Hatton has stated on numerous occasions that Mayweather is the P4P no1 so where you got that idea from i don't know.

What a ***** Hatton is the guy needs a tuneup and fight the fight in Manchester. Hatton knows Floyd doesnt want a tuneup so he think Floyd will sit around until April taking almost a year off. Is it any clearer now to the nuthuggers that Hatton doesnt want this fight he just feels pressured into it.

I don't think Castillo was shot in the fight against Hatton.

However, he was (and is) past his prime. I said this before the fight.

Duly noted. There's no shame in stating that IF you said so before hand, which I seem to remember you did. I agree, although I think Castillo was still world-class and that Hatton proved he would have stopped any version of Castillo.

I hear yor point but listen....10 MILLION DOLLARS???????????? The man just made 20!!! Any boxing follower knows what Hatton is doing he is pricing himself out because he knows Floyd aint fightin for that...who would fight for that.....this is the facts...Floyd was the challenger for ODH...so floyd accepted ALL of ODH's stipulations...ring size, glove size, catch weight, and purse...why..beacause ODH was the champion and the premiere fighter! HATTON needs and should do the same if he so called wants FLOYD soooooooooo bad as he says. Now im not against Hatton i would love to see the fight but these are the facts man...Hatton is the challenger...not champion....he must succumb Floyd's stipulations but the ....fight in Las Vegas it can only do wonders for his population anyway it cant hurt it, 147 wieght class....why not Floyd moved up for ODH cus he wanted him so whats the problem with Hatton if he really wnats him, and secondly...10 million dollars....come on man he cant be serious.

Sing this song when Floyd calls the 10 mil offer or counters with better!!

IMO, that snippet (which could have been out of context) may reference the LIKELYHOOD that Floyd still hasnt signed or countered Hattons offer.

UNTIL TEAM MAYWEATHER MAKES A MOVE or COUNTER-OFFER, about this fight??

***time 9 and the rest can have a 64 oz MUG of SHUT THE **** UP:lol:

You don't price yourself out by making offers. You price yourself out by ASKING for bigger offers.

If Hatton wanted to price himself out, he wouldn't have put forward an offer.

Floyd got 20 because of DLH, simple and plain.

THERE IS NO WAY IN HELL he makes 20 vs ANYONE ELSE:good That would take a streak of victories against top guy's to earn that juice and Floyd aint close yet.
