Blah blah blah. The man is undefeated. For all the times he has been hit, he has come back in devastating fashion to win (usually finishing his opponents).

I need help here. I admit that although for the last several years I have become as strong a boxing fan as I can that compared to alot of guys on ESB i'm rather green. How in the hell is it that Ricky can make an offer of 10 mil to Floyd to come to UK, but the Calz/Kessler fight is in serious jeopardy because HBO isn't willing to give 5 mil for the fight. PBF's purse alone here is more / equal to the amount Calz/Kess combined. How can this be?

Tuneup wasn't a great choice of words , he means a lesser championship fight while the larger fight gets arranged.. Money is the big issue.....

If Ricky insists on a tune-up, it's because he doesn't really want this fight.

If he wants Floyd, take it next.

Ricky isn't in the position to make Floyd.

Ricky needs this more than Floyd.

Like i said, whatever deal is signed ISNT SECRET!! It makes NO difference that the numbers are made public prior, UNLESS they are trying to hide some lowball deal, which is likely the case on Team mayweather side. This way at least hatton has some public record id PBF nixes the fight and then CLAIMS hatton ducked him.Bitching about it is POINTLESS!! Come correct and there isnt **** to ***** about.

Skip the "it was offered prior" bull****:good those offer's came within a six month period BEFORE Hatton's contract with Warren expired. They werent going to lose a significant some of a huge fight, to Warren. Just like PBF when he BOUGHT OUT his contract with Arum. Mentioning all of this is POINTLESS since they are discussing and offering at the moment. If floyd's determined to prove himself, then DO IT!!

No one's gonna accept an unfair offer and Hatton and PBF dont equate to DLH in drawing power. Of course you'll do whatever DLH wants when you're gonna make 20 + Mil. Bringing this up is POINTLESS and irrelevant to the situation.

AGAIN, IT'S MONEY!! Highest offer WINS. Hatton has said he wants the fight regardless of location. Yes, they expressed desire for the UK and made an offer to get it there. NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT!!!!!! If Floyd really wanted a HUGE STAGE to express his dominance, THE UK will provide that platform. Floyd has said that's possible, so the only remaining question is HOW MUCH??

Either way?? Name the price and sign the fight.

Mayweather is likely the one to kill any chance of this fight happening. He'll demand TOO much money thinking he's the next golden boy.

Could well be true, but Floyd's come farther in negoitiations than expected and ITS CLEAR that Hatton has gotten under his skin.

The US is the only market where serious money can be made in boxing. Hatton VS PBF means something to American fans, casual or dedicated; Kessler VS Calzaghe only draws the dedicated American fans.

On a side note, it seems VERY SAD to me that the UK/Danish/Euro fans cant support what should be a European superfight between two of the best Euro fighters in a very long time:good Indeed, that shows that the USA is the MECCA of Boxing.

Meaning that HBO will pay out a **** load for this one?? because other than that it's not like there's gonna be 15,000 americans flying over to watch pbf. So with out HBO putting up the money where the hell is it gonna come from?? Is Ricky a way bigger draw in UK than Calzaghe?
I know i saw a packed house with that Manfredo deal.

At $49.95?? HBO PPV would generate roughly 25 mil at 500, 000 Us buy's and close to 35 Mil at 700,000buys.They wont lose $$$$$$$, they'll make a very nice sum:good

So before Ricky even came out with this offer his team were confident about HBO's shelling out the cash?

When has Hatton claimed to be the greatest fighter walking around today?

PBF's the one who does that :-(
