much as it was a truly fantastic performance, bhop did outweigh pavlik by 17lbs or something crazy. Still, no one forced him to fight.

 

Damn Pavlik looks weak compared to Hops, look at KP'S right arm compared to HOPS Left arm, age don't mean ****, KP talked to much trash and it pissed the old fart off Hops would kill him in a street fight, Pavlik had 3 good fight's in him with Miranda, ( a limited **** fighter) and Taylor he's a spent bullett...

Actually, I don't think Abraham could do that to Pavlik, or would look too good with Hopkins himself. But it still doesn't hurt to rub that into certain peoples faces as often as possible.

 

Despite the fact that Hopkins thoroughly dominated Pavlik - it is interesting to note that Pavlik took that beating and kept fighting for the entire twelve rounds. Other great fighters found themselves unable to stand the full twelve rounds with Hopkins including Trinidad, De La Hoya and despite the fact that he finished the fight - Antonio tarver was knocked down by B-Hop as well. Pavlik never went down, never backed down, kept fighting and took his beating like a man.

 

He took an schooling and didn't quit or go down. Pavlik's heart can't be questioned.

Which is why I don't really count it against Kelly. Yes, he couldn't adapt to Bernard, but then again how many can? Kelly is flawed but he's still a good-to-great fighter. He had the flu for this fight and was massively outsized, it wasn't exactly a level playing field. Bernard fought an amazing fight.
