Round 1

Barbosa shuffles forward and tries a 1-2 to the body. Cuello tracks to his left and sticks out a jab. Barbosa raises the 1-2 up to about chin level but can't get it across as Cuello leans back and lifts his gloves to block. Cuello steps inside and jabs out a tight guard, all nervous movement. Short hook by Cuello. Barbosa is already pawing at his nose where Cuello has been landing his jab. Right hand by Cuello taking slow, careful steps inside. Barbosa puts up a jab and Cuello reaches past to land his to the chest. Hooks to the body by Cuello, now coming forward with more confidence. 1-2 by Cuello chasing Barbosa as he falls back with his guard up. Nice body shots by Cuello. Straight combo by Barbosa, hitting glove. Cuello is countering to the body and cheekbone with hooks and hurting Barbosa!! The Brazilian is badly hurt. 10 seconds left. He survives.

Round 2

Barbosa is reaching over Cuello's head with jabs and overhands. Barbosa tries to take the fight to Cuello early to stem any pick-up from where they left off last. Cuello just shells up and lets Barbosa throw his predictably high, straight, low-velocity shots into the leather void as he comes forward. Cuello begins to hook the body again, and Barbosa quickly hurries backward. They trade jabs and Barbosa takes a large step back. Right hand to the guard by Barbosa. Cuello walks him into a corner and rips a few hooks under the elbows. Flush jab by Cuello coming forward, quickly putting his arms back together to catch Barbosa's straight combo. Barbosa is strictly head hunting, while Cuello is practically ignoring his foe's cranium. Barbosa continues to get moved around the ring by the patient, methodical jab and well placed body hooks of Cuello.

Round 3

Barbosa is hurt by a hook to the jaw as Cuello swivels around him on the inside with a sliding step. Cuello continues to jab high through the gloves and hook the body as Barbosa backs up and loops his right in a desperate attempt to fend him off. Barbosa has his left forearm dropped perpendicular to his chest to try and alternately intercept Cuello's jabs and smash down as a barrier to his hooks. Cuello patiently picks his spots, ducking Barbosa's own jab and getting inside to do his work and back his man up.

Round 4

Cuello is circling fluidly to his left and casting out a fishing rod jab, tightening his guard back up immediately in mid-step even though Barbosa is hopelessly outpaced to get into range. Barbosa keeps spinning and trying to line up his jab, tapping it off Cuello's gloves where he can to get his bearings, and holding that right hand cocked and ready should he get a chance. Quick jabs to the body by Cuello. Lead right falling in by Cuello, missing but obscuring Barbosa's vision so he can drop and escape to the side without suffering any consequences. Barbosa tries to jab but Cuello consistently gets his own forced past it, all while moving and keeping Barbosa turning on the balls of his feet.

DirecTV commentators have it 40-36 to Cuello, unsurprisingly.

These rounds are fairly straightforward.

 

Round 5

Barbosa gets brushed by a few jabs while stepping in, with Cuello dancing to his left. In and out movement by Cuello, trying a few rights to the body and then up to the face. Barbosa is able to lay an odd glove on him as he's in process but not with anything forceful. Jabs to the guard by Barbosa, and a 1-2 with bad intentions but slow and caught on the gloves. Hooks to the body by Cuello. Big left hook to the face delivered quickly during a lapse in Barbosa's defenses where he peeked up over his glove during a lull. Cuello fakes Barbosa out with a partially wound hook and then jabs him in the face. An overhand clears Barbosa's glove and cracks loudly against his skull. Cuello is putting together some sneaky power punches from outside now, getting more creative, and having an effect on Barbosa. Cuello falls back to the hook to the body whenever Barbosa makes overtures of starting to adjust to a new shot, petrifying him.

Round 6

Cuello dances in and out, left hand held low, throwing jabs and hooks at the rollerblading statue before him. Hooks to the body resonate throughout the club as Cuello finds the body whenever he's willing to risk ducking in to chip at it. Barbosa tries to time him with straight counters to the head, but just doesn't have the speed to pull it off. Cuello moves in against him, smothering him, and slaps a few more loud hooks to the body. Barbosa REALLY hates those, scampering back across the ring. 1-2 to the guard by Barbosa, just going through the motions now.
