    He couldn't see in the last part of the Pac fight and didn't quit. But he's going to quit against Cotto? :-( I don't think so.

    I really think Cotto should of stuck with Manny Steward for this fight. Just like the first fight, Cotto will look good in first rounds but once he gets hit and realizes Margo hits as hard as he did in their first encounter, mentally he'll start to crumble.

    While I feel the majority of people (myself included) are rooting for Cotto and feel he is the more polished and technically sound boxer of the two, he may very well fail in this fight. Cotto has a huge mental disadvantage to add to the physical advantages that Margo possesses because of Margo's hard earned victory. If Cotto can follow a solid gameplan and remain disciplined throughout the battle I can envision him carving Margo up, he needs to let his hands go on the inside and use lateral movement. The intagibles that Margo possesses have gotten him belts but in my opinion those intagibles have faded and his body may not react well to the punishment he will surely receive in the rematch, he needs to put the pressure on quick and if he can execute early he will most likely win. I'm still on the fence with this one....

    this is true to some extent, if marg knew he suffered a orbital bone fracture/detached retina in the first fight and had also known the consequences following, like possibly not being able to fight again, if he really knew the seriousness of the injury do you really think he would have kept on fighting?maybe!! but this time the ref and doctor will keep an EYE out closer to him cause they are looking out for his safety!! this fight will be stopped if that same eye looks even remotely close to what it did in the pac!!

    Margarito's eye will be fine; when Cotto wins, I don't want people to discredit him as Pac's leftovers.

    I agree that the ref will really be looking at that eye, and if it does get busted up and starts looking bad it might get stopped. But no way will Margo say "No mas." If the fight is stopped it's because the corner throws the towel, the ref stps it, or the Doc.

    Even if Margos eye was hanging off its socket he wouldnt take a knee. He would still be pressing.

    fair statement, margs isnt known for being a quitter, cotto made that mistake in the 1st fight, having being subdued under the plaster god

    The **** is the title about? :lol: But I agree (somewhat) I see his eye getting pretty badly ****ed up. Just hope it doesn't affect his vision long term :good
