There's a difference between a just war and an unjust war, fighting against Nazi Germany was a just war, against vietnam it wasnt.

That sort of blind support leads to regimes like Nazi Germany, you really think all the Nazi soldiers were born and bred evil?, no that is very unlikely as believe it or not, when it doesn't come down to be Kill or be Killed most humans are naturally helpful to each other, thats how it is, if it wasn't most if not all of the world would be at war, not just parts of it. A significant number if not most of the Nazi soldiers had your attitude, to follow and fight for your country regardless of whether its right or wrong.

Ideology of War is given by the bourgeoisie, but fought by the proletariat and naive individuals, who believe going to war for your country is always right - there is a difference between fighting for your country and fighting and killing innocent people from another land.
