His best days are behind him I thinks...shame he didn't get the test his mettle against some others champs after Marquez.

He did try despite what others say.

He did..multiple times...More so than just about any current or recent champ in the division.

Why do people still believe this **** when it take less than 20 secs to look up his record?

I respect Chris John. He has good skills, brings excitement, and judging from twitter seems to be a really cool dude. But his resume is not so great. He beat Derrick Gainer, Rocky Juarez (twice IMO) and JMM (by a hairline) not bad but still not that good

    I'm Indonesian.

Jmm landed harder punches stood his ground in exchanges. Not saying john didnt land but theres plenty of instances where marquez lands and pushes john back with his punches.

Again, everytime I watch the fight I have John winning more often, but always close. It could go either way and certainly not a robbery like Pac-Bradley.

Although the huge disparity in the official score cards suggests that John was going to keep his belt as long as he survives.

I think John really did want to establish himself in the USA at one time, but that robbery draw in the first Juarez fight must have completely soured him on that, beyond the rematch. I cannot blame him for that, but it's too bad for us fans, it would have been lots of fun to see him against more of the top featherweights of his era.

John doesn't want to do anything to be remembered. It's his own fault that his career will always be mentioned as a ''what if..''

He had the skills and his moment but.. :patsch His career is nothing but a Marquez victory.. And it was 7 years ago and somehow controversial.
