Round 1

Diaz lays up on the ropes, turning his shoulder out toward Vicente. Right hands dropped on the neck by Vicente as Diaz rolls down and into a ball. Vicente sticks the jab to the body while pushing Diaz across the ring. Big right hands over the top by Vicente, squeezing Diaz into a corner. Uppercut by Diaz fighting out of a corner. 1-2 by Vicente. Combination by Vicente. HUGE LEFT HOOK BY DIAZ, knocking Vicente into the ropes. Should have been a knockdown. Vicente is in big trouble. Huge rights clobbering up top and wide left hooks by Diaz. Vicente blocks and sits on the middle rope.

Round 2

Vicente is pushing Diaz back with the jab and putting up high right hands on an incline. Diaz is ducking in under them but not getting off much offense. Weak triple jabs by Diaz while stepping woodenly to either side. Vicente connects with a hard straight right lead.

Round 3

Vicente is swarming over Diaz, throwing at head and body. Diaz weathers it and waits his turn, answering with triple jabs to push his way forward and set up combinations of uppercuts and chopping overhands, alternating which side they're coming in from in each burst. Vicente answers back. Tit for tat, toe to toe. Vicente is forcing Diaz back with the jab. Wild uppercut by Vicente misses, Diaz lowering his face behind his arms, but Vicente is left a wide open lane for a left rip to the body. Diaz is swiveling and using head movement, getting in little chippies to the body. Vicente lunges with a left hook and misses. Another lunge, 1-2, scoring.
