I heard there was a ladies' boxing world title bout on the undercard. Thankfully, instead of that circus act, Kameda vs. Sun is being preceded by... SUMO WRASSLIN!!!! :hooters This content is protected
I hate watching the Kameda brothers and according to one thing i've read i'm not alone in that one, i read that in one of Koki's fights there were more than 20.000 phone calls to the TV station that was broadcasting the fight complaining about it. Dont know if this was true though.
Round 1 Light jabs by Sun. Kameda takes a minute to warm up, and then finds a home for his left past Sun's jab. Hard left hands by Kameda. Sun doesn't look up to absorbing too many of those, already shying away from the action. 10-9 Kameda
Round 2 Kameda isn't doing much. Sun decides to have a stab at moving forward, pressuring Kameda into a corner. Kameda fights his way off with lefts downstairs. BUDI BUDI BUDI! Kameda lets Sun drive him off, executing turns on the balls of his feet but not throwing much back except the odd left downstairs. Sun approaching but not landing. 10-9 Kameda 20-18 Kameda
Round 3 More fancy ballerina moves by Kameda, leading Sun across the ring and then swiveling off the ropes as Sun flurries. Most of Sun's stuff hits Kameda's guard as he maneuvers around him. Just enough left hand counters by Kameda to pick up an edge in connects, and larger edge in efficiency. 10-9 Kameda 30-27 Kameda
Round 4 Kameda is looking to set traps for Sun, coiling up in a crouch and then leaping in with short left uppercuts and right hooks. Sun is catching shots on his shoulders and pressing into Kameda, forcing some infighting. Sun is relatively landing well here, staying on top of the champion. 10-9 Sun 39-37 Kameda
