Naoya Inoue (4-0, 3) v Jerson Mancio (18-3-3, 9) in a fight for the OPBF 108lb title NOTE THERE ARE SPOILERS ON BOXREC, DO NOT LOOK!
Oh snap, really? Sosa is a frontrunner in the 2013 Fighter of the Year race. He is already neck and neck if not ahead of Stevenson, Mayweather, pretty much everyone in contention - and if he springs the upset here to grab the green belt, he becomes the clear-cut #1. Yaegashi had an epic clash with Kazuto Ioka down at straw and has moved up to establish himself as maybe the best flyweight in the world (the only argument coming from Juan Francisco Estrada)
Round 1 Inoue is popping his jab in the face of Mancio, stepping in and out and then widely around him with smooth and confident steps. Mancio tries bringing a chopping 1-2 down the middle but can't get a bead on him. Uppercuts circling in close by Inoue. 10-9 Inoue
Round 2 Inoue is piercing the face of Mancio with his power jab, keeping him guessing as he steps madly all over the place, ordered chaos, moving in controlled geometrical patterns but faster than Mancio can turn and face up. Uppercuts behind the jab, and straight rights to the body. Mancio is countering with a high jab and hook at the body, gloves up tight against his face as he tries to keep up with Inoue's movement on the inside and at mid-range. Big 1-2 by Inoue charging in and Mancio is knocked back, bouncing off the ropes and down! 10-8 Inoue 20-17 Inoue
I feel sad... another easy pick slipped trough my fingers because I was to late to make it in the Kirk league. :sad2
Round 3 Inoue is putting in huge body shots, left and right uppercuts with extra torque snapping up from his explosively unbent legs. Mancio is placing his knuckles under his chin and leaning to either side, dragging in pendulous hooks on Inoue's body while getting pushed back. Jabs and whistling overhand rights by Inoue pressing forward, continuing to nearly lift Mancio off the canvas with those ambidextrous uppercuts downstairs. Mancio nearly goes down a few times but hangs in there, tossing right back at Inoue's body. 10-9 Inoue 30-26 Inoue
