Andrzej Fonfara vs. Samuel Miller, 10 rounds @ light heavyweight

 

Round 1

Fonfara is clubbing Miller, who grabs him around the giraffe neck and leaves red marks across it. Fonfara is working uppercuts and overhands pushing Miller into the ropes while Miller jabs up at him. Miller is slammed with a rabbit punch and Fonfara leans into him, scores an uppercut and one more clubbing right plus a body shot on the belt line. Miller down, complaining it was low but given a count.

Round 2

Fonfara jabs the body and then begins to flurry up top, hammering down with the right. Miller grinds in close and spins Fonfara around, smacking him on the back of the head with his own clubbing right. Angered, Fonfara throws a short left hook into Miller's chin as the ref pushes them apart. Miller is down and out.

Hell, so are these geezers in the main event. Especially Frag, who to put it politely doesn't look a day over 60 :!: - but probably Diablo as well.

Actually, yeah. I stand by that. Kovalev if he moved up today could wrest that green belt away. His aggressive intelligent demolition would serve him where Chakhkiev's greater abundance of natural athleticism (but lack of ring IQ) failed him.
