Well I don't think many predicted that Fury would come forward and absolutely dismantle Wilder.

Possibly out box him and win decision with his superior skills ? Yes. But walk him down and beat the living hell out of him ? I don't think so.

For me winning every round in dominant fashion flooring your opponent multiple times and stopping him well within the distance. Is clearly better than Usyk winning a 9-3 decision.

Good performance from Usyk ? Yes. Better than Fury's performance over Wilder ? Absolutely not.

    A great performance without doubt.

I think for me the level of the opponent is important - Joshua had fought all the serious fighters in the division and beaten them, Wilder hadn't fought any of them...
That suggests that unless Wilder was/is far better than he ever dared to prove, Usyk had a much more difficult fight to win - not to mention that getting a wide decision against a champion in their own back yard is respectable in its own right.

Wilder may have been a coward when it came to taking fights, but he still clearly hits hard - it's a good win, especially in the manner it was delivered... For me it's absolutely not as good as Usyks win over Joshua, and I didn't think he could do it beforehand.

Well Joshua had already been beat up and utterly dismantled by Andy Ruiz, Wilder was undefeated and had no prior losses to getting dominated by Fury. Yes Wilder may of been a bit fortunate to get the draw vs Fury, but he still floored Fury twice and damn near knocked him out.

Joshua has a better resume Wilder yes but is the version of Joshua since losing to Ruiz more dangerous than Wilder ? well that's up for debate. Joshua recently got his faced busted by a Helenius who took the fight on short notice, Wilder on the other hand destroyed Helenius in the opening round.

If Joshua/Wilder fight depending on who wins, Usyk or Fury's wins over them could plummet or sky rocket.

For me though Fury had a career best performance vs Wilder and absolutely destroyed a very dangerous top 3 Heavyweight, for me that's clearly the most eye catching performance i've seen in recent years at Heavyweight.

I couldn't believe how poor those guys were. You can talk tough, look tough, act tough, be tough on the football field, but that doesn't make you tough or a good fighter. The way these guys talk themself up it's mesmerizing. Mooney '' did '' sparring and hit the pads.

That means absolutely ****. Chin's in the air, poor technique. Granted Bellchambers was better. Barry Hall can actually box and has good technique, ring smarts, iq etc. Just got knocked the **** out vs Sonny Will because well, it happens. Sonny Bill got Knocked the **** out vs Hunt, who lost to Gallen, who '' drew '' with Hall. Hall won that fight.

Wandered off track here. Couldn't resist having a crack at some of our big mouthed bums.

1 and 2 have to be an inactive Usyk who was essentially having his second real fight at the weight (Witherspoon only turned up to shell up and survive and that wasn't even quality sparring) schooling the far bigger, heavier, and longer AJ in his backyard in front of 65,000 raucous and hostile AJ fans and then repeating the trick again in Saudi.

Yellow Belly's performance in Baptism II was impressive too but he was much bigger than The Dosser not much smaller and he held all the physical advantages over him.

Not to mention that, unlike AJ who had actually been fighting real fighters and has a far better resume than The Dosser amateur and pro, The Dosser had forged a career fighting no to low skill janitors, binmen, and crab fishermen.

It was just electric watching it live. Easily the best heavyweight performance in recent memory as far as I'm concerned.
