    Laszlo Papp was probably the greatest amateur ever imo. 3 gold medals and a 288-12 am record.

    start with johnson back in the early 20th century. the first truly dominant heavey weight and the first accepted black sportsman. sugar ray robinson, the best boxer of all time and a legand of the sport. joe louis, never given the finacial rewards for his great achievments, truly great heavey weight. mike tyson. tragic story of a fierce aggressive guy who was a victem of cercumstance. manny pacqiauo, the most dominant fighter of his generation and the most talked about current boxer in the world.
