The Diaz fight won't be boring, Diaz will come to exchange/shove/hug..etc, Diaz is pretty much a poor version of Hatton and that's a good test in yet another new division before a possible Hatton fight, don't you think?
look at the bright side. with diaz' style, it probably would be a war. unlike the barrera rematch where mab was contented on not getting ko'ed. who would you prefer pac fighting instead of diaz?
Have you seen the new Chunky Pacquiao, i'm looking forward to the fight i know Diaz is the worst Lightweight champ but i'm an optimist and can't wait to see if pacquiao can perform at 135.
excahnge/shove/hug... pac has been in all these kinds of fight several times before. theres nothing really new, except hes fighting a very poor fighter in every sense of the word. if hes really gone nuts to challenge hatton at 140, the other diaz would be the much better test, dont you think?
3 of the 11 guys you mentioned have not yet fought at lightweight but you are rating them higher than diaz already?
its not going to be a war. pac speedy distance punching would be a puzzle for diaz to solve the entire distance, if he would be lucky to last. pac can always beat diaz to the pucnh anytime. katsidis, campbell, the other diaz. and casamayor <---- would be an awesome fight. bring it on pls:happy
hes been sparring mostly with lightweights eversince he stepped into 130. i believe he can fight at 135. the only interesting thing to see in this fight is how pacs power would translate into this new division. WHERE THE HELL IS PACDB? WERE TALKING ABOUT PAC AND IF THERES ONE WHO COULD ENLIGHTEN US WITH MANY THINGS ABOUT THIS FIGHT,THAT WOULD BE HIM...
diaz likes to move forward and is an in-fighter. also a southpaw. pac likes to operate in the distance coming in with his speed and moving out. what if diaz can take pac's punches and come's forward continuously without giving pac the space. then pac would be forced to fight inside where he would not be too comfortable. i would have prefered a casamayor fight or a juan diaz fight if he didn't lose to campbell.
favorite and being rated is not the same. pac is the favorite over diaz because he is viewed as an amazing 130 champ while diaz is a so-so 135 champ. but pac, marquez and guzman should not be rated over diaz or any other fighter who have already fought at 135.
Pacquiao has never seen that in a division like this, Diaz is going to be bigger than him, that's the point here. The other Diaz is a better opponent, though he lost recently but definitely far better than the one he's going to fight. Still though this is his first fight at the weight and it's not a bad decision to fight the opponent they selected. As I said, it's not bad to have a stay-active type of fight before something big. He's NOT a machine and a fight like these in between major fights aren't bad, also as I said a fight with the other Diaz is also possible and not totally out of the question but NOT a smart move for his first fight at this new weight. You're basically asking for Pacquiao to have megafights all the way, as I said he's NOT A MACHINE and easier fights in between big fights are normal, everyone did them, Calzaghe made a career doing it. :yep
diaz is easily hurt (morales fight), easily find, loves to trade punches off. hes tailor made for pac. pac inside 9.
aggree:good but its not going to be an exciting fight. and thats my point lol! at this >>> Calzaghe made a career doing it.
diaz was down against morales but i doubt he was hurt. he even continued moving forward and smother morales resulting in two knockdowns. well, it remains to be seen if pac can stop diaz. i'm not as excited as when he fought marquez in the rematch but i'm curious to see what pac can do at lightweight against someone who is settled in the weight already. maybe next time, we will get to see pac-casa or maybe pac-marquez3 for a lightweight unification.
