Yeah what a great suggestion. Lets have golovkin, a guy that already has more than enough power at his disposal, dramatically change his routine and incorporate these exercises (who knows what effect it will have on him) in the hope of making further improvements to power that he doesn't need. What a brilliant idea...

Or maybe we're not all blessed with Golovkin's genetics and we need to work to be the best we can be. If you don't have a couple of hours a week to work on developing your physical capacity in the weight room then I'd have to question your commitment to the sport.
A big part of the reason why top amateurs tend to stay at the top of their nation is because they're exposed to proper athletic training (re: proper weightlifting for boxing) and nutrition in their national training environment.
I've seen videos of Golovkin lifting weights and wrestling, so let's not pretend that all he does is boxing training.

Better to spend more time on boxing and less on eating properly..
better to spend more time boxing and less on running.....
better to spend more time on boxing and less on developing your psychological skills.....
better to spend more time on boxing and less on sleeping well

Your logic is terribly flawed and is just going to limit YOUR potential. If you want to compare yourself to someone with 300 amateur fights who can succeed in spite of his training then go ahead.

Who knows what effect it will have on him? Everybody with a brain knows that him being stronger is certainly not going to make him a weaker puncher. Why would he have to dramatically change his routine to incorporate basic exercises for athletic development?
Glolovkin doesn't need more power, okay. He can lose power and still be a great puncher. Who else is that relevant to? You're making generalisations for the average joe based on a freak, an anomaly.
Yeah, what a brilliant mind you have.....

I would love to shoot the **** further, but I hear Abel Sanchez has booked a private flight for you to show GGG your revolutionary training methods seeing as they clearly don't know what they are doing and urgently need your help to improve golovkins power through weightlifting.

You're needed elsewhere my friend.... fking dumbass :rofl

No, Abel Sanchez and Gennady Golovkin have more boxing knowledge than everyone combined on this forum. Don't you think they would have thought of that already if it would?

F*ck me, Boxing trainers are THE LAST people to adopt new methods regarding training.

A world class S&C coach or a man who wears jeans when doing pads? I think I know who I'd go for to get that little bit more out of me.
