    Name 5 Current (World Level)

    A Fighters.
    B Fighters
    C Fighters
    D Fighters.

e.g: Paulie Malignaggi might be an A fighter when you take into consideration all boxers around the world. But when you dissect down to world level fighters theres a big difference between he and a Pacquiao. While they both might be in the top 10% of the fighters in the world, they are on a different scale when you look further into that 10%.

Kovalev a C level fighter? Especially when every big name in the light heavyweight division wants no part of him? :blood

I'm not trying to be too high on GGG, or Kovalev, but I think they are both A level fighters that both display qualities only fighters I consider 'special' to possess.

I don't get were some of the people on this forum get off calling world champions, or former world champions C or D level fighters.

There are hundreds if not thousands of competitors for each individual weight class, and literally more than 90% of them don't even break into the top 10% let alone fight for a title, let alone WIN a title.

I don't get how someone could call Paulie, or Maidana D level when Paulie is currently ranked 13 out of 1698, and Maidana 4 out of 1698. :-(

These are truly the rankings of arm chair warriors who have never laced up a pair in their lives. :barf

To me D would be 10-20 ranked.. on their division... anything over 40 is really irrelevant

    Complete bull****.

Fighters can have a name and still be on the periphery of the top 100.

Those are your C- type of fighters.

People like Maidana or Paulie who have won multiple world titles are B+ at the very least.

smh people have no respect for the talent, and hard work required to make it on some of their fallacious alphabet lists.

If these people ever laced a pair up, and stepped in the ring for once in their lives they would know just how hard it is to reach the world level in front of a television audience.

    :good

The edit was nice, and it was necessary to clarify your perception of what it means to be a A,B,C, and D level fighter among only the relevant in sport.

But the way some of these posters come off calling people C, or D level like Broner, Malignaggi, or Khan, in the most disparaging way is what really bothers me.

Any person who wins a world title (whether it be a paper title, or not) should be considered an average B fighter.

A C level fighter to me is someone like Josesito Lopez, or Jesus Soto Karass.
