    Ward- Dominates GGG, eady decision

Chavez Jr- Iron Chin, if GGG could not drop Rosado he definitely cant hurt Jr, Chavez rallies late and wins via TKO

    FROch- Too big & strong

Martinez- 160 KingPin, toys wit GGG.

TRout- too slick & black, his movement gives GGG fits

GGG is good, but HBO & alot of boxing fans are hyping him into something he is not, an unbeatable fighter. His best wins are Proska & Rosado,,,, cMon. Even writers like Fat Dan & Doug Fischer are hyping him

I disagree with Sergio and Chavez. Chavez throws 2 shots per round and Sergio wore down his chin.

Sergio is older, been dropped many times.

I think Golovkin can beat them.

Ward is too good a boxer though,he would beat Gennady.

Why do people hate Golovkin now? Simply because he is good and has fans?

    sgarcia805,

I think you're massively underestimating Golovkin.

Many fans cite his lack of head movement as a weakness, but it really isn't. I don't feel like going into this in detail, again, but Golokvin's style is all about conserving energy, and staying focused on his opponents' openings. You do that by NOT blocking / avoiding every punch they throw. Many ood traines try to teach this to fighters, but it's hard to adopt in a real match.

Most ex-boxers understand this concept. You can also find plenty of online & written boxer's training info, which also explains this.

Golovkin is certainly still untested against elite opponents, and "The Bute Factor" definitely is a concern, but I personally don't see any MW, short of Maravilla or (believe it !) Curtis Stevens, who can beat him. - And I don't think Stevens will want to starve himself again to fight at MW anyway, not with the depth in that division. - So that leaves the marvelous one, and he'll be retiring soon.

GGG really is the future. The pac-man v floyd superfight is dead now, the future superfight will be GGG vs .........

So getting pizza faced by a average light middleweight is now boxing strategy. Learn something new everyday on ESB

    Martinez kos him
    Ward enbarrasses him
    Quillin
    Chavez
Even Barker or Maclin are 50/50 fights

Qullin? That guy dropped N'dam many times and couldn't finish him! He even got rocked himself.
I think Qullin is certainly KO'd by Golovkin

Ward - Yes. No question imo.

Chavez - Maybe.... Id favor GGG.
Martinez - Maybe.... Id favor Martinez as long as hes the same. But his age is starting to show and I think his time as a p4p force is closing.
Froch - Maybe.... Id favor Froch. But if GGG came with his boxing shoes instead of seek and destroy, I wouldnt count him out.

Trout - Not a chance. GGG would win that fight wide or stop Trout late.

Anyways, 2 of the 5 are super middles who will probably be at 175 before their career is done, so not sure why they are relivant until GGG moves into their weightclass. Hes the epitome of a middleweight though, and should stay there for his career. Losing to bigger guys whos weightclass you shouldnt even be at his not derailing anything.

GGG is not the force hes being made out to be, but hes very very good nonetheless and he has made the division super exciting to see how things play out. Cant wait for him to fight again.

You think GGG vs Macklin is a 50/50 fight?

GGG would carve Macklin up late

Name a fighter GGG has beaten on Macklins level. Life and death with Ouma, got busted up by an guy smaller than him. Where does the notion come from he is this monster? Based on what performance

Please. NDam is twice as good as anyone GGG has beaten yet and Quillin dropped Ndam about 6 more times than Golovkin dropped Rosado

Oh hes def not the monster hes being made out to be, that I agree with you on.

But boxing isnt always about 'hes never beaten anyone on this guys level'

Theres a first time for everything in boxing in fighters careers, and when GGG does step up to Macklins level, (and GGG vs Macklin is an awesome fight to make at this stage) I expect that the first 3 rounds are a blast with both doing good work, but Macklin will get busted up down the stretch and carved up late.

Its just imo though.... if Im wrong I will own up to it.

Would be an awesome fight to make right now.

Ward vs. GGG would be an extremely competitive fight.

A boxer isn't going to make Gennady look bad, he racked up 345amateur wins by out timing, out maneuvering, and out punching faster men. I've never seen anyone look good against GGG. Dirrell was frustrated almost to the point of crying, despite his boxing abilities.

I know this isn't the amateurs, but Ward and Golovkin are both standouts because they have ring IQ that goes above and beyond. The things that make them great are so subtle, their opponents don't even see it.

BTW. Rosado hardly touched Golovkin and would have been Ko'd despite his running away.

Ouma doesn't let anyone look good but was hospitalized by Golovkin and hasn't fought since. If anything, Ward has looked more vulnerable than Golovkin (D. Boone fight).

Both have been overhyped by some, and underhyped by others....
