Just to reiterate the point, at the risk of being pedantic: GGG is NOT a 168 pound boxer.
    End of!
Please confine speculation about his opponents to the relevant weightclasses : ie. the ones he operates in - 154 and 160....

JCC he can't even beat Molina and got destroyed but faded Martinez, Canelo the guy who floyd embaressed and who scraped by Trout at 154 going to beat the best 160 fighter in the world.
Froch did you not see the flush shots he took off Groves no way he could take those from GGG he get's stopped now IMO.
Ward beats him clear i agree but he is number 2 p4p GGG isn't a hypejob he is the real deal and one of the best fighters in the world

5 guys who end the GGG hype?

    1. Spiderman - GGG has never dealt with someone who throws webs with such menace and Peter would tie him up (with webs) whenever golovkin got close.

    2. Stone cold Steve Austin - the Texas rattlesnake would make it a brawl from the get go, GGG has proven he has a good chin but how would he handle a stunner? My guess is not well, Austin gets him out of there mid to late rounds.

    3. A grizzly bear - this would be close but eventually the bear uses his superior reach to outjab gennady to a wide decision. What are grizzly bears chins like though? If golovkin lands big, who knows what might happen!

    4. A bus - I doubt GGG would be able to stop the march forward of the number 117 from feltham to staines, the bloke who drives it don't even stop for red lights.

    5. El Chicano - ATG.

From what I remember reading about the Canelo and GGG spar was that it was competitive throughout with maybe a slight edge to GGG. Canelo was 20 at the time though so he will only have improved since then.

Still would Favour GGG in that though.

Chavez Jr must be the biggest hypejob in all of boxing. Power? He didn't KO an opponent since forever... Skills? Very rudimentary, he needs his size advantage to win fights, skillwise he is average at best. Chin? Great I'll give you that, so far nobody could put a dent in him..

All in all Chavez Jr. is a very basic and limited pressure fighter, even euro level guys like Zbik are competetive versus him. If he ever signs a fight with GGG, I'll bet everything I have on GGG being the first guy to KO Chavez Jr. Of course Uncle Bob would never let that happen, he is not as stupid as the average folk and surely won't waste one of his cashcows in a showdown with GGG, because he knows that would be the end of the road for Chavez Jr.

GGG would rip Canelo a new arse hole and punish Chavez Jr. The others are good competitive fights

God there is certainly some good match ups there, i'm salivating at the thought of a few of the above sharing thering with GGG, unfortunately i agree, the one fighter on the list whom i do not watch is Andre Ward but yes he is most lightly to cause problems.

Saying that to hell with it, i go with GGG because the style of Ward is no good for the sport, GGG beats all of the above.

GGG would destroy froch, Chavez jr, and beats Groves but it doesn't look like a cakewalk. I think he beats Canelo as well maybe, definitely doesn't beat Ward though.
