i`m gonna stick my neck out, i think GGG would manage to do what eluded froch and manage to hit ward with hard shots.. you then have a far more open fight. honestly i think ward is 60-40 to beat him still, but so far GGG has done everything asked of him. its ironic the only boxer everyone thinks could beat him is from a heavier weightclass.. speaks volumes to me..
Last couple of days there've been a lot more posts from UK fans on Golovkin than used to be before, more than when he fought Macklin, more than when his name was associated with Murray. Groves definitely has brought something with him - some through-the-roof confidence that he is the guy Golovkin can't beat. I hope they fight in 2014.
Are people seriously giving Canelo a shot against Golovkin? Was it his dominating UD over Matthew Hatton? Or his ref assisted stoppages over Gomez and Rhodes? Or was it his amazing show of stamina against Austin Trout?
Four of those are 10+ lbs heavier than GGG and he would destroy Canelo. How about 5 guys his size who would beat him? Or how about a list of five 140 lbers that would "destroy" Mikey Garcia?
Ward yes everyone else no , no , no and no Grove is a good boxer better then I expected he needs more seasoning maybe in a year or so against good comp he will be ready. Froch is too open he was caught while loading up on his shots which he dose lot of, against a short puncher like GGG Froch would be easy work. Chavez .. Skill and conditioning he needs to have both to even stand a chance. Canelo in 10 years when GGG is old .. right now he will be suited for early retirement if they throw him in now.
