No love for Rigo and his parade of broken faces?

Honorable Mention to names not named.
    Jose Luis Ramirez
    Cornelius Boza Edwards
And for the sheer brutality of his ko at AM level Cuban Andres Aldama.

Exactly....Hagler didn't throw knockout drops. The otherwise inferior Hamed is a much better pick.

There was an Australian fighter in the 1940's called Vic Patrick who was a southpaw and a murderous puncher. He cleaned out Lightweight and Welterweight on the Aussie scene during a strong period of boxing in this country.

Without the second world war he likely would've made an impression on the world stage with his crunching power and awkward style. As it was his world title aspirations were ended by the great American contender Freddie Dawson, in a give and take classic.

Didn't he edit an Aussie Boxing mag in later life?

I think he did back in the day.

He was involved in Australian boxing for nearly his entire life. He was also a judge and referee for a long time. He was the referee and a judge of the Lionel Rose-Alan Rudkin world title fight and returned a ridiculously wide scorecard in Rose's favour so I'm not too sure how good (or impartial anyway) he was at either role.

Idk. He didn't take out Donaire, Agbeko, or Cordoba. Those are his three best wins.

I searched that and it brings up the Darchinyan fight.

If you actually watch the fight Rigo lands a straight left at the beginning of the 12th. Donaire spent the rest of the round covering his right eye and getting lit up because of it.

That was a good shot but Naz hit harder I`d say. Rigo would blown Khan away easily thoug because he`d land more and Naz was a reach bully, wouldn`t work with the bigger man.
