Thats what "Eye" saw. Garcia's left hook was landing in that same area even before the eye swelled. What the hell did you think was gonna happen? Matthyse's eye would stay perfectly normal.

Get over it. I edged matthysse for the W, but danny did what
he keeps doing, getting better and making adjustments. Garcia
won this fight tonight, narrow but he did enough. Matthysse
just marched forward in straight lines and didn't change up
when swift called him on his offense. Danny is linear at 140.

 

It was still a razor close fight and Lucas only had 1 eye for half the fight quite impressive IMO

 

Some say the eye was from a headbutt some say punch but I know one thing I won't to see a rematch in jan or feb because I still think Matthysse is better then Garcia honestly

 

Haymon is not happy about a rematch watch
