There was no need for a Sweet Pea v Chavez rematch. It was a one sided fight.

 

Great list, reads like a greatest hits rematch package. How about Oscar-Ike 2, Winky- Vargas 2, Winky-Taylor 2, Oscar-Floyd 2, Hopkins-Calzaghe 2, Tarver-Hopkins 2, Hatton- Tszyu 2 in a ring with a ref that would not allow WWE moves? Or Forrest- Mayorga 3, Eastman-Joppy 2 (I felt Eastman won that fight)?

 

What for? Hearns, as great as he was, didn't have the physical toughness to beat Hagler. In a rematch, he might be able to outbox Hagler for some rounds, but Hagler would always be able to rally and go to war.

 

I would like to have seen Foreman - Ali 2

 

B never recovered testicular function/

 

I would include Jones/Hopkins II. The one that did take place was way too far past date, and around 2002 would have been perfect.

I disagree with:
Chavez - Whitaker : it was clear robbery no need for rematch
ODH - Felix also is questionable I mean Oscar just blew it due to his lack of balls and heart

but I understand that fans of those fighters who lost might be willing to see the rematch

 

Witherspoon-Holmes 2 would've been nice...

Can see the arguement for it but it would have been pretty pointless most likely. Duran was well ahead on all cards and showing little signs of tiring. Buchanan did not have the power to finish Duran in the last 2 no matter what he did. While Duran should have been DQd there are better rematches out there. I'd rather see a Duran-Barkley rematch which to me was very very close.
