Skills displayed in this fight were a C - at best. Sloppy is the best description

Horrible performance by Fury. Worst I've seen him literally just walking into Wilder the absolute mad man.

Given it emerged his elbows were shot and he only had 3 weeks training it just shows how much of an animal Fury is. Just like Ali before him. A born and bred fighting man.

I hope he finds some form against Whyte..if he can't blow him out retirement talks are very real.

Also learn't Wilder is actually tough as anything, he looks more hurt than he is...he just loses his ability to move after he has been hurt or is tired.

It took Fury a long time to finish Wilder off after he was there for the taking and nearly got taken out himself.

AJ has his faults but he would have gotten Wilder out of there a lot quicker once he smelled blood

AJ is a bum dosser. stop talking about him. About to be retired by a 36 year old cruiserweight.

    Baptism I - 40% Fury
    Baptism II - 80% Fury
    Baptism III - 60% Fury

Baptism I - Even though it was an inactive absolute drug-ravaged muscle atrophied shell of Fury who was so weak he couldn't even lift one of his kids above his shoulders without the assistance of Big Shane the Lazarus rising from the dead moment in round 12 was one of the most epic moments in the history of the sport albeit it was sullied by Fury getting robbed blind and it being the last time we saw Slick Fury

    Highlight: The Lazarus moment

Baptism II aka Returning to the Crime Scene - Was just biblical. Kronk Fury decided to remove the judges from the equation this time so they couldn't rob him again and morphed it a front foot destroyer and proceeded to literally beat the soul out of that boy's body on his own soil in what was a deeply satisfying, rewarding and delicious experience

Highlight: Seeing that look of sheer terror in The Bronze Dosser's eyes as the reality his worst nightmare was becoming reality dawned on him

Baptism III - The most exciting albeit most sloppy installment of the trilogy. Kronk Fury's preparation had gone about as smoothly as sandpaper and subsequently he got caught with silly shots he never should've got caught with and it made the fight appear more competitive than it actually was.

Loathe as I am to do so, I have to give The Bronze Dosser credit for being able to hang around as long as he did because once again it afforded Fury the opportunity to administer a deeply satisfying biblical shellacking to him on his own soil

I'm not an AJ fanboy and think he will get stopped next time he fights Usyk.

But Fury didn't look great in the 3rd Wilder fight and even though he has been more offensive in last 2 Wilder fights he is far from a deadly finisher

There was less skill and technique in the third fight but the amount of grit and determination shown by both Fury and Wilder was exemplary. Wilder might have his flaws but he showed the World he will not quit and goes out on his shield,it may have seemed foolhardy to some but others were in awe of it .

    Dropped his level?

Like I keep on saying Fury can roll out of bed after an all night bender and beat these men

Which is basically what he did in the 3rd bout.

If he has to do that against Whyte we are going to get some hairy first rounds. It's going to be wild.

Well he took a risk doing that and tasted the canvas twice

It was a good lesson in why you should always stick to the game plan. It was almost comical the way Fury fought. He started off well but couldn't go 2 rounds without getting lazy. Fury would stop feinting, abandon head movement and then walk into Wilder in a straight line. Then Wilder would smash him to the canvas. Then Fury would get up and go back to being responsible and completely embarrass Wilder. Then Fury would get lazy again thinking he doesn't need to feint or slip and walk right back Into Wilders shots. This entire fight was a cycle of Fury being lazy then being forced to take it serious and his laziness is the only thing that kept Wilder in the fight for as long as he did.

History will remember Wilder as C or D level.

It's not about who you can potentially beat but who ypu actually did beat.

Wilder best victory is a past prime gatekeeper Ortiz. Could Wilder have beaten AJ, Whyte Parker, Ruiz and the rest of the top ten, maybe, but he didn't.

He had an opportunity to face AJ and Whyte but didn't take the fight. That's on him. His perceived level should reflect that.

Fury was less entering the third than the second. His balance is going every year. He should retire after Whyte if he wants to keep his 0.
