he won't be "switching sides" at all. The current Ukrainian goverment is very western orientated. That was what the Orange Revolution was all about, get away from Moskow's influence and start dealing with the EU and allies.

Could have switched up the rabbit punches for shots to the body in the clinch, he did at times. With men this big holding is going to be a problem, if you want to beat the superior fighter you have to hit anything you can. I am a wlad fan but until the ref takes a point I don't begrudge the illegal shots

Where am I? thoughtfull well written posts objectively discussing a fight? I don't think I'm in the right boxing forum....I think I'll stick around though

    :happy:happy:happy

Good analysis, I think Pulev really pissed Wlad off and paid the price, I was really impressed that he got up as many times as he did and I was shocked he didn't go to sleep after that one big right in the 3rd

Wlad never takes any hits or punishment, he's a fresh 38 year old. I think his dominant reign is good for another 2 years, which means 4 more fights.

    Good post!

I have only one thought .Wladimir beat a nobody(Pulev) who couldn't knock
a 41 years old Thompson out.
Pulev proved nothing. He's an overrated glass-chinned bum.

Yeah I get the concept of trolling. Let's get this over with: oooo oh no, so mad, how dare you. Anger. There go get some fresh air. Consider me officially outraged. Your job is done.

    * Anyone think he might apply for a 2nd passport after marrying Hayden? That just came to me last week in the buildup to this fight. And if he plans that, might that have anything to do with HBO putting him on again because he might actually be an American citizen soon? Just a thought.[/quote]

Some countries do not allow dual citizenship. I have no idea what Urkanian laws are:huh, but if they allow it we might see more of him on US TV, which makes sense with Jennings/Stirverne-Wilder winner, as possibilities next year.

Same old jab jab grab from wlad from what I watched.

They obviously spotted that pulev was open to the hook and it worked a treat, fair play to them.

The division although poor is quite interesting...
    Wlad
    Povetkin
    Stiverne/wilder/jennings
    Fury/chisora
    Pulev,Thompson,solis,Perez,charr,ustinov,joshua,arreola,price,spizilka,browne,glazkov,takam

Plenty of names there for some interesting fights

Same old jab and grab? Not sure what you watched. I absolutely hated the Povetkin fight, but this one was way different.
