    ive heard good things about him form folk who have sparred ,has a very eye pleasing style aswell ,he has a lot of catching up to do pro wise maybe ,but it will be exciting to see what can be done ... Good luck!

    He has to be very busy if he wants to make something out of it.
    8 fights a year or something...

    No chance.

    I guess it's better late than never but he'll spend his first year fighting cans and by that time he'll already be 40/41.

    Lou Duva offered Stephen to turn pro when he was on international duty out in the States, but he turned it down.

    His younger brother was even more stylish and a bigger personality and he never turned pro despite having 7 Irish senior national titles.

    Seems to be the case that heavies can go on much longer these days, when I was 18 Tyson was heavyweight champion at 20, I thought it was pointless even going to a boxing gym even though I had the goods. Starting at 18/19 would have been okay in retrospect.

    I'm 20 and started at 18. Had 4 won 3. I'm not saying I personaly will win anything but it isn't impossiable. Anyway, good luck to this guy, with that expierience he should go straight into 8 rounders and be fighting 10 rounders within 1 year. If he has 8-10 a year he could be 16-0 next year then challenge for stuff.
