Anyone else thinking one of the heavyweight fights could be Johnny Fisher v Adeleye ?

 

With two Heavyweight fights we atleast get one high profile fight apparently this Turkey has also said a team captain will fight and get two points or something

Matchroom don’t have as many Heavies as before unless someone like Whyte, Hrgovic or Wilder sign up can’t see them using Chisora for this

On Franks side you have Dubois, Joyce, Zhang and Adelaide (sp)

 

2 area level fighters going at it - I'll be up for that. Think Fisher takes it!

 

it's pretty obvious that it's Wilder Zhang, hence why Turkey even said that they're allowed to sign new people, as he clearly wants Wilder Zhang on the card

 

Atleast Wilder and Zhang will have a knockout both being hard hitters

 

Does anyone else feel like a 5V5 UK only would be way better? the 10 year rivalry of Hearn vs Warren from like 2012-2023 was all about their Uk shows and selling more tickets and getting better viewing figures on SKY / BT and having the best fighters in Britain at each weight, for example back in like 2016 or 2017 whenever it was, where there was the constant back and forth about Yarde fighting one of Matchrooms guys like Hosea Burton etc and it went on for months, that's just 1 example, so i feel like if it was their UK fighters it would mean way more, like Hearn and Wilder have no relationship, same for Warren and Zhang yet that is gonna be one of the fights probably, so it's just gonna be forced celebrations when they win, Hearn has been taking shots at Wilder for like 6 years yet now he's gonna jump around the ring if he beats Zhang even though he's is not a real Matchroom fighter and they probably don't even like each other.

 

My understanding is each promoter puts their choice fighter forward so if Eddie wants to he can put forward AJ who would be available to fight on that date, AJ against Dubois or Zhang could be interesting

 

Agree 100% with this, do either really care if Wilder or Zhang win? At least with Dubois-Hrgovic there is some incentive, as Eddie can keep Hrgovic-Joshua in-house whereas Frank could get his guy a massive fight.

This really ought to be the precursor of a proper Wembley 5v5 of domestic fighters …

Isn't Hrgovic signed on a co-promotional deal with Matchroom? They have Huni as well but yea, they are very thin at Heavyweight unless they throw AJ in the mix.

 

I know they had a share of Hrgovic but think that expired Eddie might need to start sucking up to Whyte or wheel out up and comer Chisora for his fifteenth loss, might be too early for him though

 

I agree with this always creates the best fights when both British fighters.

This card should be pretty awesome though.
