I actually thought what made wider so dangerous wasnt his power but his ability to cover distance in the blink of an eye and time them coming in which he is incapable of doing anymore. What also screwed him was when he travelled to Russia and povetkin popped. That would have been some statement if he'd took out povetkin in Russia. Anyway saying that I always liked watching wider he always had you on the edge of your seat waiting to see what would happen. Sad end to his career if it is the end.
He was completely finished when the ref stopped the fight during Fury 3. Nothing left at all except a burning desire, old shot body and a broken heart. Even taking this into account, Joshua was lining him up for a fight if he won last night and that is simply disgraceful.
Prior to Usyk AJ was the unified champion and clearly had the best record in the division at the time beating many of top 10 guys such as Wlad, Povetkin, Parker, Whyte, Ruiz, and Pulev. Wilder a shell of a man against Parker and Zhang? I strongly disagree with that. Wilder showed the same weaknesses against them two as he did earlier in his career against Spzilka, Washington, Stiverne and, Duhaupas and Ortiz. The difference with Parker and Zhang is he actually fighting world level proven opposition who exploited Wilder's many weaknesses.
You can say that about this Heavyweight division from 2014 until Usyk moved up possibly with the exception of Fury.
No not really just Wilder I mean look at AJ and Parker very impressive resumes in comparison to Wilder. It's Wilder that has spent his career fighting guys the level of Washington, Spzilka, Stiverne, Duhaupas, Malik etc to be found out when he finally steps up in quality of opposition against Parker and Zhang.
These are the glory days for you with 2 defeats for Wilder and Fury losing to Usyk. Your CV algorithm must be close to ejaculation.
Also - going by the crowd size and reaction when Sheeraz was on, seems fair to say he'll be a wealthy man in a year or two. Probably the biggest cheer of the night.
yep last night highlighted how strong British boxing is. Always new talent and new world champions coming through! It's a constant production line. 4-0 for Brits, yet 0-3 for Americans.
