Say it ain't so. Are we looking at another family affair on our hands? Another decade of boring @ss HW all in the family control freak boxing?
He is tall, skilled and super fast. Also underrated power. Just listen to what everybody on his trainingcamps has to say about him. Way better than Joshua at the same age.
Sounds promising so far. Be nice to see a decade with some diversity for a change. I liked Wlad a lot until Sanders exposed him, then the excitement went out the window. I liked Vitali until Lennox retired, then the excitement went out the window.
Im not seeing it sorry man. Hughie just isnt that good in my eyes. I see Joshua as levels above and that is saying something. He wont get as far as his cousin unfortunately. Seems a nice kid, just lacks what he will need to get on the elite level.
Those might not be the most reliable sources though, right? Certainly not neutral sources at any rate.
He's right that Hughie is miles better than AJ @ 21 FFS AJ only started boxing @ 19. You might need to watch him a bit closer tbf Hughie has some mad skills and he's a big boy himself 6ft6 230lbs and still growing
Someone like Tyson Fury will never bend to sanctioning bodies will. Years from now, if he can keep winning, he will likely remain the Lineal champ, while everyone else has a belt
I doubt it. Even if Hughie Fury can match is cousins achievements and become a champion there is no guarantee Tyson Fury will still be a champion. Tyson Fury is well known to balloon up massively between fights, that doesn't really suggest he'll have a long prime. Bowe was shot by 28, though he did have some wars as well, though with Fury lacking self discipline I'd expect Fury to be past prime by his early 30's.
He also turned pro at a young age, it would be more surprising if he was going strong at 35 imo, doesn't mean he can't have a great run in the next 5 years
