Seems to be alot of debate about Wald's offer to Haye 50/50 split with no options. Before i get ahead of myself it was Haye and manager that said it would have to be 50/50. That was offered and then declined by Haye. Some on here say Haye deserved more than 50/50 with no options, I find that the biggest line of bull**** I have ever read on this site. We are talking 50/50 with no options and a chance to dethrown Wald.

I would personally think any boxer would jump at this chance. Win or lose you get a shot at Wald and the payday. I think after Haye calling out Wald for the time he did and then pulling out of the fight's with the Klitschko's made me lose respect for him. Now, first fight he would not have gotten paid, i can understand this. He got what he wanted in the seconed fight with Wald and declined. My question is : See Poll

Honest answers appreciated. Please explain the reason for your answer.

i cant see the poll? :) Nm now its there... lol yeah Boothe said they wanted 50/50 and recieved it.. All it shows is haye really didnt want the fight he was looking for an excuse not to fight so after they agreed to what Haye assumed would be a deal breaker they had to find some other way to bottle the fight. Haye wanted the Fraudley fight all along Toney and Wlad both said that shortly after Haye took on Ruiz.

I'm very sure Haye wants the fight. It's just a matter of time, though it is frustrating it's not happened yet. I'm not too fussed it hasn't though because I have no real doubts that we'll see it in the future. Boxers who are haggling over very small percentages, aren't likely to duck a fight which is going to make many millions.

It will happen, no doubt about it.

Haye was saying about V Klitschko on the ringside programme saying they had made an agreement to fight and shook hands etc. But when the contract came through said it was very different, and said he had agreed to a rematch if he won, but said the contract said 2 rematches, and other things werent what was agreed

I wish people would stop making excuses for Haye.

And saying it's ok because the fight will happen a year from now is not a good answer. Wlad is getting older I want to see them fight in their primes not when they're ageing.

50:50 with no options more than fair to Haye and more than he deserves.

I can understand your thinking there, guess I should have also put in the poll: Is Haye waiting till the brothers are ready to retire before fighting them.

I think it will happen as well, i think the question is when. I think Haye losses alot of respect if a fight with a Klitschko does not happen at some point in time. If it does not happen, then it would be Haye ducking the bro's in my eyes.

Ducking the bros is as obvious as it was in Bowe/Lennox case. Only trashcan misses.

I completely agree that Haye is ducking the Ks. When did Toney and Wlad say that? I hadnt heard that before.
