I really think the UK loves its sport so much that anyone that can be a force they are behind one way or another. Audley could be champ right now and he would fill the same amount of seats as haye....and he would generate as much ink as Haye. Germany is the same way....look at the crowds felix sturm brings in.....and he fights the worst of the worst and wont even fight unification fights even when the world was calling for him and abraham. they look at it as an event and place to go. like the chicago cubs,,,,they sucked 9 out of 10 years and have sold out every game for god knows how long... but with all that said, Haye is scared.....and i dont say that often....not scared of any man (i dont think) but scared how he can maintain damage control when he gets punished after all the years of what he was "gonna do" . best thing to do is for him to shut up...everytime he opens his mouth he contradicts himself.....
I agree with most of this. Haye's popularity definitely is a reflection on how Brits love and support their guys. Same goes for Germans. The pertinent part for these negotiations though is that Haye's popularity in his home country translates into much more money than Wlads. One thing I will say is that K2 have cleverly put Haye in a position where if he doesn't sign a bull**** deal he'll go down as a ducker. Fact is though, I really don't think Haye gives a ****. I think he'd fight the Klits tomorrow for a fair deal but he'd just as happily beat some bums and retire at the end of next year a very rich man with his excuses in hand.
You and ***** ass Chopper both responded to me you silly ****. Problem is, neither one of you has any way to refute anything I said. The numbers are in. Haye generates over double the money Wlad does so 50-50 is BS. Either prove me wrong with evidence or **** off.
Wlad sells out arenas, 61.000, 50.000 and at least 43.000 people. He has TV contracts worldwide. Without talking about Wlad, Haye is nothing at Heavyweight. Haye has to proof he is a Champion. 50:50 is more than he deserves!
Another Wlad fanatic I see. Read back before you repeat ******ed and dispelled arguments. The extra 20k people in an arena adds up to about an extra £500k. That is **** all and you dicks need to shut up about it. Notice also how Wlad's ticket sales have gone down massively since 'he' sold out a 61k stadium with Haye's name on the tickets. Give a source for Wlad's worldwide TV deals and their values. Fact is he makes **** all from worldwide TV. None of the big markets want anything to do with him. Haye Generates **** loads more money so 50-50 is bogus.
Haye ran his mouth, signed a contract and then backed out. Haye also broke an implied contract with Vitali. 50/50 is more than Haye deserves. Instead Haye fights Audley and he might lose that one, rematch clause for Haye.
You need to quit having public temper tantrums and whingeing like a little girl, mate. Either take your meds or take Chopper's advice and harden the **** up! [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=unkIVvjZc9Y[/ame]
You have been owned once again. Can't argue with the truth *****. "Both Klits KO Ali, Tyson was a bum, Marciano never beat a HOF-er" --ChopperRead
This argument seems all too familiar. Last time I was in Davo's position facing the same crowd, think I'll sit this one out. op
Davo may actually have a point. Can anyone prove that the Klitschko's make more money? If Haye does make more, then why should he settle for anything?
I don't really like it when overweight keyboard warrior ***gots call any boxer a coward, it's disprespectful, and I don't think Haye did what he did because he's quaking with fear at the prospect of fighting Kiltschko. I've seen Haye's whole career and that's not his style. I think it's what Audley Harrison said when he was being interviewed for On The Ropes, Haye's just got a massive ego so he's after terms that are too much for Klitschko to give in too. At the end of the day maybe a rematch, or a two rematch, option on the fight is unreasonable, but he's the one with the Heavyweight title, he's negotiatiing from a stronger position than you, and that's the way it is. Haye should accept the terms, BS or not, and then make the fight happen.
When negotiating business deals money is what matters. Haye generates much more, therefore he gets a better split. If Floyd decides to go up to middleweight and fight the Martinez-Williams winner are you saying the split should be 50-50? Clearly, as Floyd brings far more money to the fight he would take far more of the money from the fight. That's just simple business.
