if he beats vitali, then makes the fight, they will see it as champ vs champ, and it could be 1 of the biggest in history.

What im saying is when he fought iggy, chagaev and peter were champs. (i think it was during peters reign) wlad was ranked #1. but him vs peter would have been a pick-em.

since then, he has proven himself as the champ.

im from england, he is now globally seen as the champ

 

The financial sense is already there he is not getting more then 50% he was already offered.. Even if he beats Vitaly ( doubtful ) he still wouldn't be the champ Wlad is already # 1 and as you said has been dominating for 5+ years Haye even with Vitaly wouldn't have even nearly the accomplishments.


Legacy sense if he was really concerned about that aspect he never would of backed out of two fights already.
