The flops he made with his video game, was a ****** rookie mistake. How the hell can u invest millions into a video game, and not even have cmmercials for the game. I mean I wouldnt even do something like that. He just is very very dumb, and overrated as a business man. What IDIOT would have something like that, and have no commercials...and I said, he thinks its easy, because he overrates himself, and he thinks he is some genuis.

50 is just the figurehead, which in all reality is a positive thing for Dirrell, Gamboa and boxing period.

Yeah this other dude acts like 50 is going to run the operation out of his basement and do all the work himself.

Regardless of how bad you may think his music is, he is still known worldwide. And he will at least bring some mainstream notoriety to these two fighters. (Even if they do watch just to see them fail)

Its not about supporting him its about the FIGHTERS MORON, DONT U GET IT???? THIS NOT A MOVIE, HE JUST TIED GAMBOA UP IN A CONTRACT!!!!!!!! DONT U LOVE BOXING??? ARENT U MAD ABOUT THIS???? I WILL WATCH his fights, But what does me watching have to do with him handling GAMBOA'S Career???...I DONT KNOW everything about the sport, But I BET I know more about promoting than he does, and I STILL would never do it, cuz its so tough...its a struggle each and every day, GBP's top fighters are getting KO'd every day, I KNOW they must be in crisis. Im not hating, Im just upset for the fighters and U dont love boxing at all, cuz all u want to do is find ways to make it okay, when I gave u so much of my thoughts, insight, about how he is really overrated...Anyone can learn about the sport, but FIFTY TRYING to learn, and using Gamboa to help him learn???.Come on man, where is ur passion for the sport at bro, go away.

    50 Cent = Richard Shaffer
    Mayweather = De La Hoya

What is so hard about putting it together??
    50 is a proven business man & together w/Floyd it's a given.

    It's a no brainer.
    The Oscar Blueprint.

I have no doubt now that Floyd will be around at least 4 more fights or more.
    (More seed money)

Exactly. Career suicide if you ask me. Gamboa should sign with GBP, the next best promotional company.

Quit lying about him being known worldwide, he isnt even famous anymore, he fell from grace for a reason, its because he was a bad business man, he has no mainstream appeal, he cant even GIVE free music away, no one will download it..U keep trying to flip it around to where Im a hater...take EVERYTHING I said, and combine it, dont just take my comments about his music, and say, "U think his music is bad", I just brought it up as another of millions of reasons, as I have given throughout all of my comments...He isan overrated business man, and he just tied up GAMBOA IN A CONTRACT.

Equating his failed marketing for a video game, which in all likelihood is the onus of the distributor of the game, to him being a poor boxing promoter is foolish.

Calm down. Step away from the keyboard for a minute.

We can discuss this all day, but getting into a heated "internet discussion" about this, when you continue to make irrational assumptions is just not my style.

You don't know me or know **** about me. You have no idea about the boxers I've been around, and the careers (in the past and even more recently) that I've seen turn to dust right before my eyes. I have also followed fifty and some his business ventures. Yes, he's made some mistakes, and some bone-headed decisions. But i'm not going to crucify him or assume that I know more than him about promotions just because I can criticize some of his business moves in retrospect.

I will wait and see what he can accomplish, and what he can bring to the sport. Have a nice day, and you probably should see a doctor.

Gone ahead, and lie and say he's a proven business man, when his career fell off, he was forced to SHOW his business skills, without relying on BUZZ, and Hype, from fans....after his hype fell off, he couldnt get any of his ventures off the ground, and that trailer from That horrible movie, can tell u ALLOT by how his mind works...he lost all that weight, thinking he was gonna get an Oscar..How come WE see the movie is horrible, yet HE is not perceptive enough to see it was trash? THATS how his mind works, he overates himself as a business man. He REALLY thought he would get an Oscar.

It is risky. But also interesting. First, Dirrell and Gamboa, even though they are good boxers, are not what someone could consider a "draw". They do not have a big fan base. Dirrell hasn't really been in a fight for the last two or three years and is acting like a prima dona, without any fame what so ever.

On the other hand, 50 cents is known outside the boxing world. He is a name that a lot of people know, not just boxing fan. So when it comes to promoting, even though he is not the best business man, his name could help bring more fans to see his boxer. So that could be could for his boxers and for boxing in general.

    Futur will tell.

Edit: I never listened to his music, I might have heard some of it but even if I would listen to it now, I could not even tell that it would be a 50 cents song. I am not really in to pop music. I am not from the States (I am from Quebec, Canada) and English is not my first language. Still I know his name and that he is a signer. So I guess it is fair to say that 50 cents has at least a name.

IF Floyd joins this venture & fights thru this promotion there is no way it fails.
(Unless other Promo's don't do business with them??)
