    I like the stand up of mma. Is the ground game with the wrestling that doesn't appeal to me. Do I like mma? Sure. But I like boxing more

    Different strokes fellas.

    You can't force people to like it both.

    I like it both, I appreciate the nuances of ground game, but I don't go around my Pop's house telling him to like it as well.

    Much like an MMA fan who's under the illusion that Dos Santos will be competitive in championship caliber heavyweight like the Klitschko's, it's hard to convince them otherwise.

    you can't dude..and if it was that easy than 12-4 boxers would train for a few months in it and go kick ass (yes boxers make more money at the same relative levels, but 12-4 boxers don't make more than UFC champions)

    I love boxing and MMA. I can't understand how any fight fan doesn't. I love the stand up aspect of fights, and I love the ground game aspect. Of course I do get bored when two guys lay on the ground and do nothing... just as I get bored when two guys stand on their feet and do nothing. As long as the fighters are active and working toward victory, I am entertained.

    I love how the MMA haters talk about how boring the ground game is, that guys "just lay on top of each other".

    As if there's no such thing as two boxers who can't stop each other sleepwalking through 5 or 6 rounds to a wide decision, clinching 20 times per round and throwing one punch at a time. :lol:
