No the only 'truth' you believe is what you hear and choose to accept, then block out the bad stuff you don't agree with to suit your argument. Like 95% of most sports fans.

There are no absolute truths in sports so please **** off with that

or how they responded with Donaire and Rigondeaux's drug testing situation

I didn't find anything wrong with what 50 said. He sounds like someone who still respects Floyd Mayweather.

What the segment lacked was the appropriate follow-up question:

Skip: Did Floyd Mayweather duck Manny Pacquiao?

    50: Yes.

Skip: Did Manny Pacquiao also duck Floyd Mayweather?

These guys simply don't know enough about boxing to ask the right questions.

You posters here at ESB should, however.

Floyd tried to make that fight in 50's opinion.

Not in mine, because Manny was never going to accept Floyd's offer.

What was the offer again? A flat fee of $40m, but with no PPV split? Ha! Yeah that was fair wasn't it? It was never going to happen, and before you start saying "Manny couldn't make that money fighting anyone else" neither can Floyd.

All the Floyd fans are saying Manny didn't want the fight, he didn't take the money. Of course he didn't! Do you think he was going to let Floyd have all of the PPV money, when it would have surpassed the $120m grossed by Floyd vs Oscar?

What roughly would Floyd have gotten for all of the PPV money?

Manny wasn't going to let Floyd make millions and millions. By the way, I agree that Floyd should have the bigger split, but not a ridiculous percentage.

You guys have no perspective. You only see things from one angle. I'm not a Floyd hater, or a fan of Manny's.

Floyd has lost out on millions of dollars by not fighting Manny.

Now if you think that was a fair offer, and Manny should have took it, you need help.

Floyd offered a ridiculous offer, and when Manny turned it down (which anybody would have done) Floyd was able to turn around and say "I've tried, look what he made against Bradley? Look what he made against ..... etc"

Then all of his fans lap it up, and say Manny's stopping the fight from happening.

They haven't got a ****ing clue!

I don't know how they get dressed in a morning!

They know nothing about the business side of things.

Manny's not going to accept $40m to make Floyd $60+m.

A fair deal would be to split it 55-45 in Floyd's favour, or something similar.

Floyd knew full we'll when he offered Manny the $40m that Manny was going to turn it down. It was a joke of an offer, all things considered.

Floyd fans, answer me this question.

Why has JMM fought Manny 4 times, without wanting him tested like Floyd?

Do you think if JMM thought that Manny was juicing, he'd have turned a blind eye and fought him anyway?

Floyd has never seriously wanted this fight. He doesn't want to risk his zero in tough hard fights.

He's in the cheque cashing business, yet a fight with Manny would make him an obscene amount of money. He'd rather fight the Guerrero's of the world

He's apparently gone back on his word to fight Canelo in September.

    What a surprise!

And how much did Manny lose by not fighting Floyd?

He now has JMM demanding 20 million to fight him again, for Christ's sake. :patsch

    **** me!

How much has Floyd lost out on?

His fight with Oscar is the biggest grossing fight of all time. It went out to 2.4 million households!! It grossed $120m in PPV, and I'm certain that a fight with Manny would have grossed a lot more. Floyd wanted all of the PPV. In the grand scheme of things, the $40m was a joke of an offer! Can you not see that?

Realistically, how much would Floyd have made?

    Do a rough calculation.

It could be anything around $70m.

Manny wasn't going to agree to that!

Can Manny make 40m against any other fighter? No of course he can't.

Likewise, can Floyd make $70m+ against any other fighter? Of course he can't.

A 55-45 split in Floyd's favour was more than fair.

He knew Manny wasn't going to accept. Do some research. It was a ****ing joke of an offer. It was an insult. Nobody in Manny's shoes would have taken it, to see Floyd make nearly double the amount.

At the of the day, they've both lost out, but Floyd has lost out the most, by simply being too greedy.

GBP offered to work out a fair split and Arum said he wasn't interested in working with GBP.

Hiya pal, nice to see you.

That's fair enough, and he whole thing is complicated. My issue is, Floyd in my opinion, has never wanted to offer a fair split, and I think he knew full well that Manny was going to turn down his offer, but it portrayed him as at least trying to make the fight.

I think he was being very crafty. I respect your opinion mate, but I'm certain that Floyd has never wanted the fight.

    Good seeing ya brother :hi:

It should be pretty safe to say that Arum/Pac never wanted this fight though either. How do you say you "dont want blood tests on the day or the day before the fight"

then in your next breath turn down a two week cut off? Then give a million excuses as to why they need a cutoff anyways?

    All fishy to me.

hes been on a couple of debate talk shows and hes both intelligent, articulate and well-respected( as he should be since he sold one of his companies to coca-cola in which he netted over 100mm).

he also does not have an overblown ego which many of these self-made guys do. gives profits of his energy drink to feed the hunger problem in africa.

he was also shot nine times.

when i hear so and so is a "g" here on the esb forums curtis jackson is the "g" of all "g's."

i believe 50 cent over anything that floyd would try to refute. if 50 said that floyd ducked paq then, imo, there is a 99 percent chance thats exactly what happened.

I respect you as a poster, upmost respect, but how can you sit here and say this when Pac turned down a 50/50 split??? Come on man, you're not making any sense when you say that Floyd has never offered a fair split. If you cant see that every party involved in this should share some sort of blame, not just Floyd as you're trying to imply.

Manny said he'd take a lesser share, then when offered one said 50/50 or no fight. They never came back with a lesser split offer.

Yes, I do believe JMM would have fought Manny on PEDS or not. Many people here believe a boxer should regardless, and I believe boxers have stated their opinion on this matter and said fight regardless.
