    Exactly.

But I don't think we've got anything to worry about. Floyd will be retired soon, noone takes Dirrell seriously anymore, and Gamboa has been far too inactive recently and isn't gonna' get the guidance he needs from a promoter who's had no experience in the game. He's really made a big mistake joining this 'Money Team'. Could potentially **** up his career.

Their only saving grace his Al Haymon.

But yeah, I personally hope their venture flops. The last thing I wanna' see rappers in bright-coloured baggy clothes with shiny jewellry walking to the ring and straining their necks to get their faces on cameras. It'll look like a joke.

This can't be anything but bad. Floyd won't do business with Top Rank, and his 'company' are already beefing with Golden Boy.

You can imagine it at mayweathers next fight, you think the main event is about to start, been sat up till 4.00am and suddenly fiddy jumps through the ropes "this is my new single, in all good record stores tuesday" :patsch

More promoters and entrepreneurs in boxing is good as the fighters will benefit from more choice.

50 Cent's quite a good business man, but I'm surprised he'd act petty like this, they should be trying to keep a good relationship with GBP.

TMT promotions have started of pretty well, Gamboa & Dirrel are sound investments, Gamboa v Broner+Dirrel v ward=$$$$$$

Why would Al Haymon be involved ?? , if he wanted to turn his hat to promoting he would of done it already , yes i imagine he may keep a managers role to some of the (TNT) fighters LOL , but hands on in the boxing promotion business i doubt it , he's a talent manager , posh word for talent rep , boxing promoting is complicated

I suppose a lot hinges on just how deep Haymon is in , if he is the feeder initially they should have something to work with

There's a difference between Fiddy and Richard Schaefer , the latter being part of a very educated and successful banking family , Fiddy being a rapper ??? , who is the driving force , who is crunching numbers and taking care of business , Floyd and Fiddy ?? , then you can forget it pretty much

TMT Promotions - The Money Team Promotions :patsch

50 already has promoter's license from the NYC commission, in the process of getting one in Nevada. It'd be **** funny if GBP lose Mayweather, they never actually had him sign a contract or anything. Floyd just works with them on a fight-by-fight basis.

So Schaefer's been arselicking Floyd all this time, getting into arguments with TR and so on and now Floyd's going to leave him

Crazy isn't it? Any other promoter tries to put on a fight like Thurman/Lora on HBO they'd get laughed at. The only thing Haymon seems to have going in his favour is he 'advises' Floyd. Is that big enough leverage to get these TV networks to dance to his tune?

Thats the irony , but i imagine Floyd has netted GB a 100 million plus , so worth the hassle , slight exaggeration , probably generated 100 M plus , not netted

He apparently dislikes attention. Likes to keep his face away from the cameras. So it wouldn't surprise me if he's planning on using the names and faces of 50 Cent and Mayweather to pull strings from behind the curtains. Managing and promoting often cross over, too.

In the US it's illegal to manage and promote a fighter. Haymon more or less has full control over his fighters but uses someone like GBP as a cover promoter to keep things legit.

That's how I'd imagine it would be. I doubt he'll let Floyd and Fiddy handle his business model. He's been in the boxing industry, managing its fighters, for a number of years now. I'm pretty sure he's got the connects to find guys to play the Schaefer role.
