Interesting. Makes even more sense for him to use Fiddy/Mayweather.

    I don't know.

For me, Floyd doesn't fight often enough to make him worth all the effort that HBO put into Haymon fighters.

Berto $1m+ to fight a bum
    Thurman on already

Yet there's other fighters desperate for even an undercard slot for chump change frozen out. Madness.

It's much easier to wield influence and let someone else take the rap for making **** fights :deal

Most of the paying public in America aren't smart enough to realise what's good and what's not, unless the opponent falls over inside a round.

Like i said it depends how deep Haymon is in , if he's shallow deep then at the least he'll be a feeder for TNT and a right steer towards TV network exposure , if he's in deep then TNT could be something big , but there going over old ground , its a saturated industry , its gonna take time and patience , and just what else would TNT bring to the table that the main players cannot , slightly confused by the whole thing tbh

That's one of the reasons why I don't think they'll be that successful. Being a boxing promoter isn't as easy as it looks. Especially when you've already got two giant fishes in the pond already (GBP and TR). And we've seen how complicated them two alone can make things. They've single handedly split the sport into two fractions almost. There isn't enough room for another big-shot to come along. At most, they'll be a small-time company with only a handful of fighters.

i think you need to read up on 50 cents other business ventures mate.

FYI Al Haymon is invovled in distributing films to HBO. Movies makes up 75% of HBO's content.....Boxing is 2%. thats where the power comes from.

ive heard that Haymon is also out of the picture.

Everbody knows what Haymon is , his business in boxing is minimal , he's the man who can get you a break on the bigger TV networks that other promoter / managers may not necessarily be able to get you , thats about as far as it goes for Haymon's involvement in boxing management , if Richard Schaefer is to be believed his involvement runs deeper with Floyd Mayweather , and RS is in a pretty good place to make a comment like that don't you think

Ill admit i know nothing about Fiddy's business ventures his experience or his business acumen , he may well be a dark horse for what i know , but no matter what they certainly aint gonna revolutionise this sport , my guess ..................... there looking to solely cut out GB's profit margin when they promote / manage Floyd Mayweather and then wrap up , but who am i to say that !!! , whats the motive ?? if Mayweather fights another 3 times , in his career it saves him / them (TMT) i imagine maybe 10 - 15M dollars or more

I do agree with the posts here saying that 50 cent will bring boxing to "a new audience" and he will bring all the razzmatazz and over the top showmanship but in saying that this really saddens me!!!

If PBF's promoting goes as well as his record company 'Philthy Rich Records' or his film production company then I'm sure we wont hear much more about it. Floyd is obsessed with being even richer than he already is, cant see past his own ego and wastes whatever intelligence he might have. 50 Cent isnt any better. £5 and deep fried mars bar says we dont hear anything about TMT promotions (or whatever they are called) beyond his next fight

Compare him to Manny and they are worlds apart. I would love it if PBF got ko'ed by Pacquiao
