The biggest amateur boxing event to be staged in Great Britain for over a decade is coming to Liverpool’s Echo Arena on Friday 12 and Saturday 13 November.
The event will put some of the best boxers from Scotland, England and Wales up against members of the GB Boxing podium squads. It will feature 11 medallists from this year's Commonwealth Games in Delhi, including Liverpool's Tom Stalker and Simon Vallily, both of whom took gold.
The new competition is set to indentify the best male and female amateur boxers in Great Britain, and create an opportunity for those that are not in the GB Boxing squad to force their way into contention for the London 2012 Games.
