Whats the story with Froch Taylor? Does that count as a match in the tournament or will they only fight again if they get to the later stages of the tournament?

It won't happen, but if it does... Kessler is the best of the bunch.

I doubt the final sum is that big. It most likely be split over matches and the winner gets the the larger chunk of the lions share

of course that would be the sum for the whole tournament, which would comprise of 11 fights if I'm not mistaken.

Now obviously the final and semi-final would have bigger purses than the other 9 fights and I'm guessing you'd be right about the winner getting bigger purses than the loser.

However whoever wins this thing is probably going to earn something like $10-15 million if the tournament does take off(and with that prize fund). Which is the very reason why this could take place, these fighters will want big money and it seems they may get it.

Don't they need 8 guys to complete the pairings? Throw in Bute and if you could talk him into it, Hopkins - he still can't figure out what to do next.

Can't read the link but tournys like this rarely happen and when they have, it's been with 4 guys. They're always great thoughts (if only boxing actually worked like this) but I wouldn't be a nickel on it happening.

Who wins? Kessler's a big question mark at this point, but he'd still be my early favourite. It'd be tough to call, though.
