Regardless of whether this particular piece of news is true or not, Floyd has never been interested in fighting Pac. He wants absolutely nothing to do with him. If the fight ever does happen, it'll probably be at the end of his career, when both guys aren't even half of what they once were. (They're already past their prime.)

PBF takes breaks from the sport. He never said he planed on fighting again this year it was just speculation. My guess is if he ever fights again it will be in May. With that said 50 tried to pull a power move while PBF was in jail. 50 wants to cut out as many people as possible including guys like Haymon and GBP. PBF doesn't want to damage his position with either of these guys. 50 came out talking reckless about Oscar which I said was stupid when he did it. PBF has made millions with GBP he's not going to juts throw them under the bus. Not only that PBF won't be rushed into anything if 50 would have waited and not rushed PBF he would have given Haymon the business plan and got his verdict on it. 50 is shrewd business man who doesn't wait on anyone, he got pissed on PBF making him wait and put PBF on blast.

I think the reason for the fallout was because 50 probably wanted to move things along quickly regarding Floyd's comeback fight. While Floyd just wants to kick back and relax after his time away in prison. At the end of the day Floyds dedicated his whole life to boxing he deserves some time off if he wants it.

 

I understand why his fans would defend him. In terms of his actual work in the ring, he's still my favourite active fighter. Hell, I even said that I favour him against Pac if they met up during their prime, or now. I've just never seen any flash of interest from him when it comes to fighting Pac, though. Whether this is because he thinks Pac has always been on drugs, or for some other reason, is up for debate.
